About the home

This is a beautifully furnished two bedroom apartment on the new Armonia Exclusive Resort complex. It is situated in one of the most beautiful areas of Kapparis, eastern Cyprus offering breathtaking views of the Cyprus and Turkish coast lines. It is located close to all the amenities you will require such as shops, restaurants, cafe's and bars and is only a 20 minute walk to the nearest beach - Firemans Cove.

The development benefits from a large communal pool, with sunbeds and parasols. There is a gym and sauna and also a children's pool and play area.

This really is a super apartment for anyone seeking a quality property with facilities whilst having peaceful open sea views. This apartment has been furnished to a high standard with the owners sparing no expense in making their property a comfortable and relaxing place.

The apartment is equipped to a high standard with a 32” LCD TV with DVD player and satellite in the lounge and a 19” LCD TV with satellite feed, DVD player , IPOD dock, games console and selection of DVDs and games in the second bedroom for your enjoyment.

The kitchen is finished to a high standard with granite worktops and appliances which include dishwasher, washing machine microwave and large fridge freezer. The apartment has air conditioning throughout as well as ceiling fans in the living room and kitchen area. Both bedrooms have large built in wardrobes.

The apartment boasts a very large veranda with patio furniture and sun loungers. This really is the perfect place to enjoy the unobstructed sea views whilst dining, relaxing and sun bathing in privacy under the Cyprus sun.

The complex has it's own gym, sauna and children can have fun in the playground - Access is available to all residents staying at Armonia.

The resort has landscaped gardens and each apartment has it's own private parking space.

A non-refundable booking deposit of 25% is required - with the balance being due not less than 8 weeks before arrival (or immediately if the booking is made within 8 weeks of arrival).

Due to the high quality of the furnishings a refundable security deposit of £200 is also requested to be paid 8 weeks prior to your arrival (or immediately if the booking is made within 8 weeks of arrival). This will be refunded within 2 weeks of your departure once the apartment has been checked for any damage or missing items.

The apartment can be cleaned during your stay and linen changed for an additional charge.

A welcome pack can be provided for your arrival to include essentials such as bread, milk, water and fruit etc - There will be a small charge for this service.

This is a non smoking apartment.

The Famagusta region

Enjoying an enviable climate, Cyprus has on average 340 days of sunshine a year. The summers are long, hot and dry, stretching from early April to late October. Winters are mild and remain pleasantly sunny. Famagusta district with its excellent year round climate, sandy blue flag beaches and charming villages has developed to include two of the best resorts on the island, Protaras and Ayia Napa.

With new property limited to just three storeys by strict planning laws, the sprawl of ugly high rise blocks so often found elsewhere has been prevented. Famagusta retains many links to its past and is still an important farming region with charming and picturesque windmills dotted across the countryside.

The nearby traditional village centres of Paralimni and Dherynia offer an insight into the real Cypriot way of life. Well connected, a short drive along the motorway can take you to the capital city of Nicosia or up into the Troodos Mountains, where you can even go skiing in the winter! This is well worth a day trip any time of the year.

The Protaras / Kapparis area

Protaras – 5 minutes drive from the apartment, has all the facilities one would expect of a family resort including plenty of restaurants and night-life. The excellent beach at Fig Tree bay is definitely worth a look, as are the numerous water sports available. There are dive centres for exploring the crystal waters of the Med and mountain bike hire for those who want to explore the trails through the beautiful countryside.

Kapparis – Originally a small coastal village has many amenities of its own, most within walking distance of the apartment or only a minute or so in the car. There are numerous bars and restaurants which are universally excellent. With Greek, Cypriot and international cuisine available you'll never get bored of the choice on offer! Fireman’s Cove, the best local sandy beach is approximately a 15 minute walk from the apartment (2mins by car) and is great place to sun, swim or snorkel in the clear blue sea, or an ideal starting point for a walk along the coast. The beach at Ayia Triada is also a favourite.

Paralimni – This bustling local town will give you a taste of the real Cyprus. Watch the locals playing backgammon on the street corners, perhaps sample a local brew in a traditional taverna and take a walk around the centre and historic churches. Open all year round this is especially popular with winter visitors. As the capital of the Famagusta region there are lots of everyday shops, some good restaurants and well known fast food choices here too.

Ayia Napa – Offering something for everyone, is only 15mins by car from the apartment. Having cleaned up its image in recent years, Ayia Napa is now a more sophisticated, cosmopolitan, family friendly town with some excellent restaurants. If night-life is your thing, clubbing to the early hours is available along ‘the strip’ with taxis available to take you home. A huge waterpark here provides a great day out for the kids and adults alike.

Cape Greko – 15mins by car is a local nature reserve of many square miles, this area makes for some excellent cycling or an afternoon walk to take in the many picturesque views out to sea. A few minutes further on and you can witness the awesome sea caves. On your way back check out the lovely beach and bar at Konnos Bay.

Kapparis is approximately 40 minutes drive from Larnaca airport and 2 hours from Paphos.

Taxis are available but it is recommend renting a car for the duration of your stay, for the cost of a two way taxi journey will almost off set the price of renting a car for a week, whereby guests will be able to make the most of their holidays.

The journey itself is incredibly easy, the airport is located next to the main A3 motorway linking Larnaca to the eastern side of the island, and ends at Ayia napa, from here Kapparis is approximately 10km.
