Home description
This stylishly designed 3 bedroom villa sleeps up to 8 people. Its furnishings reflect its quality, and the homely touches add to the relaxing atmosphere that the property produces. Some of the many qualities that this villa offers its guests are granite kitchen work surfaces, modern appliances, an 8x4 large private heated swimming pool, central heating and air conditioning and ceiling fans in all rooms should you not wish to sleep with the air conditioning on. In addition, there are benefits such as a BBQ, en suite shower room from the master bedroom, local satellite television and a dish washer. Villa Amathus boasts a fantastic central location, being only 50m from Pernera centre where you will find a large selection of bars and restaurants to choose from or you can find the family resort of Protaras which is only 3km away from the villa. The golden coast beach is only a few moments from the villa and has blue flag awards keeping the beach clean and safe; you can also find water sports here too. The Protaras beaches, such as Fig tree bay are accessible from the sea front, just wander along the coast line from the villa and you will find them! The villa has been well thought out to cater for families, with plug safety caps, a travel cot and high chair, stair gate and plenty of pool inflatable toys. In addition to this, there is a large selection of dvd’s and play station games, and board games including backgammon, playing cards and chess. There are also plastic cups and items for younger children for use around the pool area. For couples the villa is perfect, with three nice size bedrooms, an en suite and family bathroom and a further toilet downstairs, the plasma television and surround sound system along with an ipod docking station for your best summer tunes…
We meet you 24hours a day in the local area, so there is no need to try to find the villa on your own. You will have an emergency help number on 24hours throughout your stay, a welcome package is provided within the cost at the beginning of your stay to get you through your first few hours and a full hand guide with places to visit and area interests along with maps of the area to get you started. The Famagusta District
Cyprus is known as the island of love and boast so many qualities that it is unbelievable. Unraveled beauties lie in Cyprus amongst the beautiful crystal clear Mediterranean waters and stretches of sandy beaches you will discover amazing churches, caves and Greek monuments that will never seas to amaze.
The traditional language is Cypriot although most people speak English as well. If you venture in to the older towns you will see many older men, sitting with friends, playing the local game of 'tavli' also known as backgammon and drinking 'frappe' which is like a cold coffee.
They sit and watch the world go by and you won’t be able to stop and look in amazement.
Protaras / Pernera area
This idealic resort has been built in a horse shoe shape close to the shore line, making access easy from the villa. Known as the land of the windmills the resort has been a thriving tourist resort for many years. There are a variety of attractions in both Pernera and Protaras to offer all age groups, you will find them mixed in amoungst the palm trees. For families, there is the water park for a splashing day out or if you are feeling even more energetic there is the mini crazy golf. At the ocean aquarium you can see all your favourite animals, including the penguin… Don’t forget in Protaras there is Kareokee, live greek dancing shows throughout the season, magic dancing waters and a variety of water sports on offer. These coastline resorts offer a variety of shops and tavens, bars and cafes to keep you entertained. You cannot help but fall in to the relaxed and calming pace of live as you meander through the streets of Protaras and Pernera.
In Cyprus there is plenty to offer for fun filled holidays, sight seeing and excursions, night life in Ayia Napa only 10km away or just relax at the harbours, lay back and enjoy the crystal waters and turquoise skies and stroll along in the evenings. There is definitely something for everyone.
How to get there
There are two main airports in Cyprus, Paphos and Larnaca. When you book flights Larnaca airport is the closest to the villa.

Fly monarch have summer sales now for next years tickets, there are tickets for under 100pounds... Euro Cyp holidays are a company based in London, they are also good for flights and the number is 0208 802 7255 .
It can sometimes work out more cost effective (if flying from UK) to fly from Heathrow and the flights are scheduled so you are less likely to get delays to ruin your holidays... Plus book in advance, if possible before the end of the year, the tickets are much cheaper.

Further details indoors: Enter the villa to a pleasant homely environment. Villa amathus is furnished to a high standard, with squashy leather sofas to relax and watch the plasma television, choose from the vast array of satellite channels on offer, or snuggle up to a dvd. If you are feeling competitive, have a go at the playstation 2. The villa was designed with the discerning visitor in mind to ensure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Catering for children’s needs, the villa has safety plug covers for the sockets, a stair gate and travel cot for infants. There is a wide selection of toys and games for children, with inflatable items, backgammon, chess and cards, dvds and playstation games. Throughout the villa there is air conditioning and heating units along with ceiling fans should this be your preference although the villa enjoys a light and comfortable feel from the pleasant summer breeze from the windows. In addition there is also central heating, blankets and duvets for the cooler months. The living room is roomy, with a comfortable chocolate leather corner sofa, situated around the plasma flat screen television and overlooks the private pool area. The sofa opens in to a sofa bed, should you require it to. The unique features to the villa add character and keep it feeling modern and fresh. The dining area seats six people comfortably and there is a wide selection of glass types and crockery. For those who like to cook, the high specification kitchen is a feature of the villa. It is fully equipped with modern integrated appliances and all necessary utensils plus some you won’t often find including cooking timer, scales, vegetable peeler, apple corer and egg slice!!!
Moving upstairs there are three bedrooms, the master bedroom has been designed to offer plenty of facilities for your stay. Not only is the room light and spacious but there is an en suite modern en suite, long mirror for that last glance before you head out on the town and a dressing table and stool for getting ready. If this isn’t enough there is also a balcony from the master bedroom as well!!! If you can’t take you eyes out of that great summer novel, it is a great job that there are reading lamps so you can continue to read until your heart is content. The other rooms consist of two single beds and a double bed for your other guests. The villa is highly suitable for young families and sharing couples - Sleeps six comfortably, can sleep up to eight with sofa bed conversion. For children we provide a stair gate, travel cot and high chair.
Further details outdoors: With our selection of comfortable sun chairs, a large table and chairs, umbrella and BBQ; the pool area has all the facilities you could imagine. When lazing beside the pool, privacy is a large factor; this villa is perfect for this factor with tall fences offering a lovely area to sun yourself or enjoy your evening meals. The swimming pool is a large 8x4 pool and is lucky to enjoy the sunshine throughout the day. For the cooler months the swimming pool can be heated. Don’t forget inside the villa is an ipod docking station so you can turn on the pool lights, set the BBQ sizzling, switch on the pool lights and create your own holiday atmosphere. To the side of the property is a shed, filled with items for around the pool, inflatable toys and games for children.
