Our beautiful and stylishly designed 3 bedroom luxury villa is approximately a 5 minute stroll to the nearest sandy beach in the heart of Pernera, near Protaras, Cyprus. Crystal Lagoon is a brand new exclusive gated development and Villa Rachel Rose is the perfect location for families, friends and couples alike to have a very relaxing and peaceful holiday.

The resort of Pernera offers something for everyone and any age group. Our stylishly designed 3 bedroom villa benefits from a high specification with private swimming pool which is graded at one end, air conditioning, oscillating ceiling fans for your extra comfort, contemporary fittings, stone tiling, granite work surfaces, high quality appliances and central heating for the cooler months. The villa can sleep 6 people with comfort - 1 double bed with en suite, 1 twin with beds which can be pushed together and another double in the third bedroom - can also occasionally sleep up to 8 people with a sofa bed corner unit in the living area.

Villa includes: 2 Bathrooms (1 en-suite), 1 downstairs cloakroom, luxury Italian fitted kitchen, plasma flat screen, satellite TV, DVD, Sony Play Station 2 with two controls and a selection of games, surround sound system with iPod docking. Outside there are luxury garden chairs, recliners, tables, parasols, Gas BBQ. A superb child friendly villa with everything you will need for the little ones such as stair gates, new travel cot with cot linen supplied, new highchair, safety plug socket covers, toys and children's books, plastic plates and cutlery plus soft baby potty seat for the grown up lavatory......

The superb location offers a relaxing haven, yet is only 2 minutes from the charming tavernas and restaurants of this lovely area. The nearest delightful and peaceful sandy beach is also only 2 minutes away in the heart of Pernera, near Protaras, Cyprus. Tucked away within an exclusive gated development, our villa is the perfect location for families and couples alike to have a relaxing and peaceful holiday at any time of the year.

The villa has been designed with the discerning visitor in mind to ensure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. All furnishings are to a very high standard with coordinating and stylish cushions, throws and lighting. All bed linen, bath & hand towels and pool towels are included in the price of the villa. All bedding can be laundered weekly.

The large child friendly and open plan lounge diner offers a beautiful deep leather corner sofabed surrounding the coffee table. Ideally positioned to make the most of the 32" plasma TV with satellite & DVD player. Here you will also find the playstation with two controls - as arguing is not allowed at Villa Rachel Rose! A wide selection of books for you along with children's books, games, toys and cards are also provided for you all to relax and enjoy that perfect holiday experience.

For those of you who like to cook whilst on holiday, the high specification kitchen is a feature of the villa. The designer kitchen fitted with soft-close drawers, is equipped with everything from a large fridge and freezer, oven, hob, microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, extensive selection of pans, serving bowls, and glassware and just about every utensil imaginable. It is fully equipped with all necessary utensils plus some you won’t often find including cooking timer, scales, vegetable peeler, apple corer, egg slice, none of which we have found in any other villa we have stayed in! A full complimentary welcome pack will be provided ready for your arrival so you can enjoy your holiday the minute you walk in the door.....

For those travelling with young children we provide stair gates, new travel cot with cot linen supplied and new high chair, plastic plates, beakers and cutlery even a soft baby potty seat for the grown up lavatory..... New for 2011 is the brilliantly designed patio french door safety gate for those little people who like to wonder about! For your extra peace of mind now you can leave the french doors open with the peace of mind that your little one cannot go out without using the safety gate fitted and ready for your arrival... Just so you can relax from the minute you get there....

The villa has remote control air conditioning throughout and oscillating ceiling fans to guarantee your comfort and wellbeing during your stay. Our villa also has full central heating for the cooler months which is very uncommon in Cyprus!

Highly suitable for young families and sharing couples - Sleeps six comfortably, can sleep up to eight with sofa bed conversion.

Relax and unwind in the enclosed private garden equipped with stylish garden furniture. Beach parasols and recliners all provided. Poolside shower and portable Gas BBQ with external dining facilities to make full use of the 340 days a year sunshine.

Private car parking space - although due to the convenient location a car is not necessary. Airport transfers can be arranged.

Pool heating in cooler months is extra.
Highly recommended for families with young children, a safe low traffic area, with a gentle two minute stroll to the beach and shops.

A welcome pack is provided to make sure that you have the much needed essentials upon your arrival whether early or late.

Please advise for parties of more than six people to enable us to prepare extra bedding.

Conditions

A security deposit of £300 will be required at the time of booking. The full balance will be due within 8 weeks of your stay.

The security/damage deposit will be returned within a couple of weeks of check-out. This will allow us time to check the property and its contents for any damage and ensure that a full inventory has taken place and nothing is missing. We will contact you regarding any breakages not notified by you, but would request that you report any such incidents as they occur. Minor incidents, such as the odd broken glass, will be overlooked.

The Famagusta region

Cyprus benefits from beautiful sunny skies and low humidity nearly all year round. The Pernera region enjoys long dry summers and mild winters. The Summer has high temperatures with cloudless skies, but the sea breeze creates a comfortable climate along the coast.

The Famagusta region is known as the ‘Jewel of the Mediterranean'. The region offers some spectacular ruins, including a magnificent amphitheatre, Roman baths and royal tombs. The North of the border has now become accessible to tourists and is 20 minutes drive from the villa to the border at Vrysoulles (we have a guide that can take you to this region). Here you can view time stood still in the beautiful harbour town of Kyrenia which is well worth a visit.

To the south of the border, there are a variety of locations to visit such as quiet quaint fishing villages which are nestled in sandy bays along the coast. The safe and crystal clear waters are ideal for swimming, sailing, windsurfing, waterskiing, snorkelling and scuba diving. The magnificent Fig Tree Bay is one of the island's best beaches which is aproximately 3km away.

Larnaca is a 45 minute drive away with its beautiful promenade and local market which is on every Wednesday and Sunday. The Troodos Mountains are approximately a 2 hour drive away and well worth a visit. This is truly a fabulous place to go where you can ski in the morning and laze on the beach in the afternoon - absolute paradise!

The Protaras / Pernera area

Pernera is an idyllic peaceful location offering a relaxing haven with many charming tavernas, bars, restaurants and shops. There is plenty for the family and couples to do if you want to combine the beach and pool with a quiet and relaxing holiday.

Pernera beach has been awarded with the Blue Flag symbol for its clean and safe waters. You will find all kinds of watersport facilities such as wind-surfing, jet skis, water skiing, para sailing, canoe and paddle boats as well as speed boat rentals. The sandy coves around Pernera are perfect for snorkeling and scuba diving and safe for children due to the shallow waters.

For the families with under eights there is a very well managed and safe family water park with life guards on permanent duty 15 minutes walk from the villa.

For those who need to access the internet many of the local bars offer free wifi access. We can particularly recommend Farkonas, a family run bar and restaurant with free internet access and a fabulous pool so your kids can play while you surf and have a drink (as I am typing this!).

If you’re looking for something a little livelier than Pernera then Protaras, with its vibrant nightlife and famous Fig Tree Bay, is 3km away. A thriving coastline resort with all manner of restaurants, bars, cafés, tourist shops, watersports, excursions and entertainment to keep you and your family busy.

A little further afield, the popular and lively resort of Ayia Napa is only 10km away. A little further along the coast you will find Potamos Liopetriou which couldn’t be more different! Set in a very quiet river estuary, this gem of a place is filled with character by suitably decorated fishing boats.

The local commercial centre is Paralimni which is 10 minutes drive. Paralimni has a range of smart cafes and restaurants as well as its own Marks & Spencer. Paralimni retains much of its old charm, with local crafts, souvenir shops and picturesque narrow streets. It is not unusual to come across fishermen quietly mending their nets in the shade of the vine-covered courtyards.

Most UK airports fly to Cyprus. Larnaca airport is the closest to the villa (45km) and
takes about 45mins to get there on good roads (you drive on the left - same as in
the UK).

Sorry we have not got back to you sooner. Have been busy with our business after 2 weeks away. What can we say, the booking procedure was easy to do and it was nice to be able to talk to you over the phone. The villa was absolutely perfect so much so that my son and family who rented another villa spent most of the time with us in the pool with all the toys and games that you supplied for us. There was everything you could want for in the villa. The decor and furniture was excellent and as for the local manager he was very polite and helpful and nothing was too much for him, also the pool men having to put up with 10 of us in the pool most days. Thanks We had a lovely stay at Villa Rachel Rose. The Villa whilst being very stylish is also very practical and comfortable for families. We really didn't need anything else that wasn't already provided. Our children had great fun using the swimming pool, which we had heated, a must really for the time of year we went (26/3/10 to 3/4/10). The general area of Pernera and Protaras is really very attractive and the beaches are great for children, especially Fig Tree Bay. We ate at a lot of lovely restaurants and met only friendly local people wherever we went. We look forward to returning to Cyprus and Villa Rachel Rose again!! The Birch family, Middx April 2010.

To say the villa is of the highest standard is an understatement. We have just returned from a week in your beautiful villa and am deeply regretting not booking it for a fortnight! None of us wanted to go home! We have had a wonderful & relaxing holiday, everyone was so welcoming we felt like family! The villa is so well equipped we needn't have stepped out of the front door all week.
