This is a brand new beautiful villa just completed for this season. It is set on a Moroccan theme, with lanterns leaving a beautiful glow and pattern on the walls and the warm reds and oranges creating a romantic and comfortable setting. Every aspect is covered down to the waterfall in the garden, comfortable rattan furniture on the roof terrace and satellite television.

Villa Maroc has 3 bedrooms, a stunning roof garden, private pool and gardens to the front and rear of the villa where you can either dine or just relax. Less than one hundred metres walk from the villa you are directly on the beautiful shoreline where you can walk to a small local beach, or a fifteen minute walk along the shoreline (or 2 minutes drive) brings you to Konnos Bay with its wonderful sandy beach and a variety of water sports.

This villa is ideal for those looking for an extra special holiday! It is furnished throughout to a high standard with marble floors downstairs, marble dining table and squashy leather sofas. A plasma TV and the satellite receiver provide hundreds of TV and radio channels, or watch a DVD, or test your skills using the fantastic Nintendo Wii games console. If you have your own Ipod or MP3 player plug into the speakers which are provided in the sitting room and master bedroom. A local pay as you go mobile phone is also provided for your use whilst staying at the villa. If you are feeling a little energetic, there is also a table tennis table for plenty for fun.

The location is superb, great for walkers as the nature trail follows the shore line past Cyclops cave, with breathtaking views all the way down to Konnos beach. A family orientated beach, with cafe, plenty of golden sand, calm crystal clear turquoise waters, and water sports set amongst the greenery of Cape Greco itself. Plus within 1.5km you are in Protaras where you can enjoy the culture with Greek dancing beside the waterfalls or enjoy more of an upbeat atmosphere and head off into Ayia Napa itself.

The Famagusta District

A country ideal for those sun kissed sun tans, with beautifully hot sunny days... Cyprus is known as the island of love and boasts so many qualities that it is unbelievable. Unrivalled beauty lies in Cyprus, amongst the crystal clear Mediterranean waters and stretches of sandy beaches you will discover pretty churches, caves and Greek monuments that will never cease to amaze.

The traditional language is Cypriot although most people also speak English. If you venture into the older towns you will see many older men, sitting with friends, playing the local game of 'tavli' also known as backgammon and drinking 'frappe' which is like a cold coffee. They just sit and watch the world go by…..

Protaras / Cape Greko area

Protaras has many great bars and restaurants offering great entertainment and food for families, couples and groups of friends. There is so much choose from. Within only a few minutes by taxi or car, you could be in Protaras and within a 6minute drive you are in Ayia Napa. What more could you want, close to the beach, bars and restaurants and so close to the clubs and entertainment of Ayia Napa and the resort of Protaras...

Plus there is a great water park in Ayia Napa ideal for family days out, and many cycling paths to get you about. In winter, there is a ski resort only a few hours drive away, ski in the morning and sunbath in the afternoon... sounds good!!!

Cape Greco is a stunning and quiet area with a variety of restaurants and cafes, shops and water sports.

How to get there

There are two main airports in Cyprus, Paphos and Larnaca. When you book flights Larnaca airport is the closest to the villa.

Great websites to check for the best prices are www.skyscanner.net or www.flythomascook.com. Another one to look for is www.flymonarch.com. Fly Monarch has summer sales now for next year’s tickets, some for under £100.

It can sometimes work out more cost effective (if flying from UK) to fly from Heathrow and the flights are scheduled so can be more reliable. Plus book in advance, if possible before the end of the year, the tickets are much cheaper.

Every room in this villa has a Moroccan theme with many items brought from Marrakech by the owners. It has been carefully designed to a high standard, with marble floors as you enter the villa, real leather sofas, marble dining table and plasma television… as a starting point. The soothing canvases that hang throughout the villa enhance the character of each room, so if you have your mp3 or Ipod with you plug it into the speakers provided in either the master bedroom or living room, open a bottle of wine, open the patio doors for the summer breeze to flow through and watch the ripples on the lit up pool…

For entertainment there’s lots to do, if you are feeling energetic, you can have a game of table tennis or compete on the Nintendo Wii games console… If you are feeling calm and relaxed there is a wide selection of board games, hundreds of channels on the satellite receiver or you could relax and watch a DVD.

Moving up the marble staircase the canvases keep the constant flow and feeling of the villa going. Three individually designed and very comfortable bedrooms are available for your stay. The master bedroom has a large king size bed, patio doors opening out to lovely sea views, a dressing table, en suite shower room and Ipod / mp3 cradle.
The other two bedrooms have themes of their own to keep each room unique, a gentle green room with double bed and colourful red room with twin beds. The bed linen is 100% luxury Egyptian cotton percale and pillows and protectors have the British Allergy Foundation seal of approval. Along with this there are plenty of luxury towels and bath mats for your use and duvet sets from the same collection in case you feel a little chilly in the cooler months. Each bedroom has wooden shutters and air conditioning to keep the rooms cool and plenty of built- in wardrobe space for all your summer clothes.

The only way to describe this outdoor area is “wow”. So much time and effort has gone into creating the perfect setting for a perfect holiday, with an area secluded by tropical palm trees and a cascading water feature, you can relax to family meal on the glass table and chairs, whilst the large gas BBQ sizzles away in the background.

Moving on to the pool area, again there are plenty of beautiful plants to enhance the style and tropical feel to the villa. The large pool is 4m x 10m so plenty of space for everyone, with an outdoor shower area as well. There are plenty of sun loungers for each member of the group to get an even sun tan, plus small glass sunbed table for your book, glasses and refreshing glass of water with a slice of lemon. The pool is maintained thoroughly twice per week so you can just sit back and enjoy everything. If you are feeling that bit energetic you can enjoy a game of table tennis after your swim.

Then we move up to the roof terrace, and if the pool area is described as wow, then the roof terrace is indescribable. It’s the ideal place for enjoying an evening drink as the sun sets and the pretty Moroccan lanterns create a magical atmosphere. During the day the terrace provides a private area in which to sunbathe or you can relax in one of the arm chairs or sofa under the shade of the pergola and bougainvillea.

Villa Maroc has a sister villa – Villa Fotini - just a few doors away which is furnished to an equally high standard. So if you are holidaying with friends, or attending a wedding at the nearby Grecian Park hotel these villas are a great choice.

Our service is “spot on”… We personally meet you in the local area at any time you arrive, whether it be 10am or 2am there is someone there to personally meet you and guide you to the property. We can assist with hiring taxis / air port transfers or car hire for you and will also provide you will full information on how to get to the area.
Throughout your stay, a member of staff is available around the clock, 24hours a day, 7 days a week, should you need them for anything. A complimentary welcome hamper is awaiting you upon your arrival, including more than the basic “get you started” packages. All of our welcome packages include a nice size bottle of wine… tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits along with bottled water, milk and juice. Plus, we add many extras depending on the group, for example and couples as apposed to families with young children. Our packages could contain, fruit, cereals, crisps, bread, butter and jam, items for the children and much more.
Inside the villa you will also find plenty of information on what you can do in the area, excursions and places to eat along with maps to help you find your way around. All of our villas have linen and towels so all you have to pack is your beach towels…
