About the home

Now in our 5th year, with several returning guests. 33 Orestiada Valley is an air conditioned, fully equipped, luxury villa with its own private pool. Ideally situated on the outskirts of Pernera in a peaceful and relaxing location next to a large green area. It is less than a 10 minute walk to the beach or the centre of Pernera, which offers something for everyone without ever feeling too big or noisy. The villa is close to the Golden Coast Hotel for anyone attending a wedding there.

Open plan lounge and kitchen/diner fitted out with a wide range of facilities to make your holiday enjoyable and relaxing, including a dish washer. Welcome pack included in the price and tourist information available to help you make the most of your holiday and the area.

33 Orestiada Valley is fully equipped with air conditioning in the bedrooms and living area. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, full length mirrors and hair dryers, with the master bedroom benefiting from patio doors leading onto a small balcony overlooking the 'green' area. The lounge includes a TV, satellite, DVD player (with films) and a mini hifi system with a USB plug for your MP3 player. There are several paperback books and a board games collection for your enjoyment. The kitchen includes all mod cons to make your holiday enjoyable, including a dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. There is an extra downstairs toilet and basin.

There is an outside patio area with table, chairs and a parasol to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner overlooking the pool and the green area.
A gas barbecue (and gas) is provided for cooking in the lovely warm evenings.
There is also the private pool and 4 sun loungers to get that all important tan.
Hot and cold outside shower.
The shed contains buckets, spades, bat and balls for use at the beach and inflatables for use in the pool by children or adults!
There is off road parking.

Please note: We do not accept bookings for all male or all female parties. The villa is for family/couples accommodation only. We reserve the right to refuse access on arrival in the event that a booking of this nature has been made and not disclosed.

Conditions

Flexible on arrival days, please contact us with your requirements. The villa available for occupancy by 4pm on the arrival date and needs to be vacated by 11am on departure date.

A 20% (non-refundable) deposit is required to secure the booking with the balance payable 8 weeks prior to arrival. Additionally a separate security deposit cheque for £200 (refundable) to cover any breakages will be required along with payment of the balance.

The Famagusta region

For those wishing to pick up the pace, the lively resort of Ayia Napa is a short 10 minute drive away and is home to the largest themed water park in Europe. Kapparis is 5 minute drive away and has the famous Fireman's beach, named because the local firemen carry out all their water training there, which in itself is a sight to be seen. Paralimni is the local town and has a town square with pavement cafes and shops, including a Marks and Spencer! The ghost town of Famagusta can also be viewed from several vantage points or a boat trip.

All resorts are on the local bus route.

The Protaras / Pernera area

Pernera
A peaceful town on the East coast of Cyprus, which has developed into a mini resort all of its own, with a fantastic horseshoe shaped beach and a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops. The villa is only a 5 minute walk away from the centre of Pernera and a 10 minute walk from the beach. Pernera is the ideal resort for families and couples with many lively bars and restaurants, serving food from around the world from traditional Cyprus mezes to Mexican, Italian, Chinese and Indian to name a few. It also has all local amenities (supermarkets, bank, car hire, pharmacy) so a car isn't a necessity. A variety of water sports and boat trips are available from the beach and fishing harbour. There is a PADI diving school just a few minutes walk away. A small family water park is on the outskirts of Pernera.

Protaras
Protaras is next to Pernera and is a larger resort offering some 300+ bars, restaurants and shops. Home to Fig Tree Bay, which stretches for over 10 miles of sandy beaches, the Magic Dancing Waters show and two mini-golf parks. Overlooked by the famous Church of Ayios Ilias, which is worth a visit for the panoramic views of the East coast, and is lit at night and can be seen for miles around.

“Couldn't have asked for more” This was our first Villa holiday, so we were a little nervous in booking it all independently, but Mike the owner made it very easy. He dosent mind how many times you contact him to arrange and confirm all the details and he will help in any way he can. The property manager in cyprus is an English lady and is only a phone call away if you need anything when you are there.The property is fantastic and my 6 yr old and 12 yr old loved the pool. It was just the right size. Mikes villa manual gave instructions on everything including how to get places and where was good to eat & shop. The kitchen is very well equipped, you could cook as much or as little as you needed to and the washing machine meant I didn't have to come back with cases of dirty clothes. The living room area was large and very comfortable with 2 sofas and great DVD collection. The bedrooms had plenty of of storage space and the air-conditioning was very effective. You can walk to the beach, shops and restaurants if you don't want to hire a car. Overall , A brilliant Villa which will certainly return to.

“Lovely villa ,quiet location very well equipped” The pool area had a nice mix of sunny and shaded areas throughout the day. So if the sun became to much you could just move to a shaded area .The cul de sac location means there are not many people passing by. The villa is very well equipped ,washing machine a real bonus. There was almost always a gentle breeze blowing which helped cool the villa and reduced the need for the air con.The walk to Pernera takes about 7-10 minutes .

“Comfortable with everything you could require for your stay” The property was well maintained with everything you could require for a pleasant stay. It is well situated within 10 minutes walk to the center of Pernera or the beach. The villa area is quite and away from the noise associated with town centers.

“Clean, well presented and excellent facilities.” The main reason for our trip was for relaxation and also scuba diving. This property was an excellent springboard for the diving, with several PADI approved centres within a couple of clicks. A short walk into the restaurant bar areas, but without the noise of being on top of them; this property suited us to the ground. My booking was for 2 couples, which the property was perfect for. Having 2 grown up children; I can envisage the suitability for young families too. The property has all of the amenities you will require (although broadband/wireless would have been a bonus) and as we ate in most nights we made use of the BBQ and other cooking facilities extensively. The property was looked after by a lady living locally. The washing machine was out of order as we arrived, but she offered (and we accepted) to do as many wash loads as we needed in her own washing machine. She then returned our clothes dried the same day! Great service indeed. Great property. Well kept. Reasonable price. Fab service. thanks

Speedy and friendly reply to all emails. All of the details of the villa and holiday experience have been well thought out. DVD and CD collection excellent idea, along with the pool toys and cool box. Villa manual with concise instruction to all appliances excellent. One of our best holidays ever, fantastic time had by all.

The villa was clean, inside and outside. Everything you could need was there. The villa location is nice and quiet, but easy to get to Pernera. A very relaxing holiday and already planning on going again.

The booking experience was straight forward, was kept up to date at all times. The welcome pack was nice and the villa, inside and outside, was very clean and tidy for our arrival. Everything you needed was there. The villa is within walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants. We all had a lovely time and we could not fault the place at all. A great holiday overall.

This is our third visit, the villa is ideally situated with everything you need just on the door step. Our holiday was great, peaceful and relaxing, a home from home. We have recommended the villa to family and friends and will be back next year!

Just got back from a weeks break. This villa is everything it says and more. The beach is a short distance away. We were met by the villa managers, who were very welcoming. The welcome pack meant I didn't have to rush out to buy things. It is a few minutes walk to the centre of Pernera which has fabulous pubs. We relaxed by the pool, also hired a car and went to Nissi beach twice. This villa has all you need for a great holiday.
