The Famagusta District
Protaras is a busy seaside resort with some of Cyprus’s most beautiful beaches including Fig Tree Bay. Water sports are always available here and during the evening there are many restaurants and bars to choose from as well as a couple of nightclubs. There are plenty of shops and activities for children.
Pernera is really an extension of Protaras and has some lovely beaches, restaurants and bars. Here you will find the Protaras waterpark. Several shops and large hotels. In Pernera you will also find the Golden Coast Fishing Shelter and Marina. Boat trips go from here on a daily basis.
Kapparis is a small resort about 10 minutes drive from Protaras. Here you will find traditional Cypriot Tavernas, bars and small shops. They also have an excellent dive school based here and an unspoilt cove to practice in.
Paralimni is a nearby traditional Cypriot town which is open all year round; it even has a very small Marks & Spencers! Paralimni has some unusual shops and an interesting town square. There are many tavernas and cafes where you can sit outside and watch the world go by.
Ayia Napa is 15 minutes drive away from Protaras and is one of the larger resorts in Cyprus, it’s always full of life with plenty to see and do, and there is a fantastic Water Park just outside the town. There is a very nice old harbour area, with plenty of fish tavernas. If you are looking for night life this is the place to go. This area has some lovely sandy beaches. Once a small sleepy fishing village, this part of the island remains the market garden of Cyprus, with the well-known Cyprus spud being a prominent crop!
Protaras / Pernera area
Pernera is part of the Protaras area but is a resort in its own right. The beaches of Pernera are all sandy, many having watersports. The nearest beach to the villa is 250m and is a very short walk. This is a very popular area of Pernera and there are many bars and restaurants to try, in particular the well known Blue Spice Restaurant which is only 2 or 3 minutes walk away. The Protaras Waterpark is less than 5 minutes walk and the main resort of Protaras is only 5 minutes by car or 15 minutes walk. The local bus runs through Pernera and can take you to Protaras, Ayia Napa and in the other direction into the town of Paralimni, a traditional Cypriot town with shops, tavernas, churches and an interesting town square where you can sit in a café and watch the world go by.
How to get there
Larnaca airport is the nearest to the villa and is a 50 minute drive. Paphos airport is approx. 2 hours away.

The spacious living area has a lounge with leather sofas, satellite TV, DVD player, VCR and hi-fi system. The dining area has a table and chairs for 6. There is a well equipped kitchen including oven and hob, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. There is also a guest cloakroom on this level.
Bedroom 1 is situated on the ground floor and has twin beds.
The other bedrooms are on the first floor and the master Bedroom has an en suite bathroom with shower, w.c. and washbasin. A safe is provided for your valuables.
There is another double bedroom which shares the balcony with the master bedroom and a twin bedroom.
The family bathroom has bath, shower, w.c. and washbasin.
Air conditioning units are provided in all the bedrooms and the living area and the cost is included in the rates.
Further details outdoors: The downstairs patio doors lead to outside where there is a private pool (3m x 6m) and sun loungers and garden furniture. There is ample sunbathing areas, outside dining furniture and a barbecue for you to enjoy. An outside shower is provided for your convenience and there is off road parking for one vehicle.

Terms of Booking:
A 50% deposit is required to reserve the villa with the balance payable 8 weeks before your arrival date. Payment can be made by bank transfer into our UK or Cyprus bank account or by debit/credit card via Paypal but this does incur a 3.5% service charge.
A £250 refundable deposit is required against damages and breakages. This is payable with your final payment and will be refunded in full within in 2 weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
