It is the only detached penthouse in this new complex and benefits from above average size and a large balcony on either side of the building, one overlooking the landscaped pool area and one facing towards the sea. The local restaurants and amenities are only a 2 minute walk away and the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean are only 5 minutes further.
The popular family resort of Proteras with its vast array of bars, restaurants and wide sandy beaches - including the famous Fig Tree Bay - is only a 5 minute drive and the lovely Konnos Bay is only 5 minutes further. For those who prefer things a little more lively then Ayia Napa with it's enormous waterpark, stunning Nissi Beach and bustling night-life is only 15 minutes by car/taxi.

Air-conditioning/heating units in every room. Well equipped kitchen with hob, iron, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle and toaster Kitchen opens onto large balcony (poolside). The open plan Living/dining area has a large table with seating for six and a leather sofa (Double sofa bed), leather chair, coffee table, TV / DVD player and opens onto balcony through double patio doors and two single doors.
There are two bedrooms, one with double bed and the other with twin single beds. The apartment sleeps a maximum of six using both bedrooms and the sofa bed.The bathroom has bath/pressurised shower over, wc, basin with mirror and shaving socket.

The Famagusta region


The Famagusta district , encompasses Kapparis, Paralimni, Protaras, Cape Greko and many distinct villages. Within this area there is more than enough to see and do to keep you happy for the duration of your stay on the island of Cyprus. The local town of Paralimni is a mixture of the old and the new, boasting a beautiful old town square and church as well as modern department stores and supermarkets. There is also a 24hr bakery that is so much more than just a bakery!
Just down the road is the family resort of Protaras, benefiting from the best white sandy beeches on the Island. Further down the coast - beyond the National Park of Cape Greko with its fascinating sea caves and turquoise waters - is Ayia Napa, a lively resort known for its nightlife and numerous bars and clubs and also the stunning Nissi Beech. Ayia Napa also boasts one of the largest water parks in Europe!
The Protaras / Kapparis area
Kapparis is a quiet but up and coming area, perfect for giving you the chance to escape and relax, yet close enough to larger resorts to benefit from all they have to offer. The main road, Kennedy Ave, has a large selection of bars, restaurants and shops and is ideally located very near the coast. The nearest beach to the apartment, Fireman's Cove, is just a seven minute stroll away and has sun loungers and umbrellas for a very reasonable charge. Walk up the coastal path from here and you can usually find a quiet little cove all to yourself!
The long white sandy beaches at Proteras, including the famous 'Fig Tree Bay' are only 10min by car/taxi and the hotels along this coastline welcome non-residents at their facilities. A couple of minutes further and you reach the lovely Konnos Bay and the Cape Greko National Park.

Direct flights to Cyprus are available from many UK airports. Cyprus has two international airports. The closest is Larnaca being only 65km (40 mins by car/taxi). The other airport is in Paphos which is over two hours away by car but is worth considering as a route in and out of the island as it often has cheaper flights.
Regular scheduled flights to Larnaca are operated by British airways (www.britishairways.com) and Cyprus Airways (www,cyprusairways.com) and Monarch Airways - from Luton Airport - (www.flymonarch.com), Charter flights are also readily available.

Car hire is very reasonable, from £13 a day. Available from www.carrentals.co.uk, which cover Hertz, Europe car and Budget. For a hassle free holiday, why not let us arrange to have you picked up at the airport, day or night (approx £25). You can then hire a car locally as there are numerous hire companies based in Kapparis, Pernera, Protaras and Paralimni. Hiring a car is recommended (at least for some of your stay) so that you can sample all that the Island has to offer.

The apartment was well equipped if you wanted a self caterering holiday. Although there were many bars or restaurants within walking distance. If your teenagers are older than 17 then probably not enough night life. If a peaceful holiday is what you want then is a very suitable place lovely small cove and long coastal walks |

We stayed at the Blue Electra apartments in Kapparris off season, and were pleased we chose a quiet area for our break. There were nice coves within walking distance and the popular Protaras was only a short drive of around 5 minutes. Konnos Bay and Cape Greco are around 10 minutes drive and are well worth a visit. A car is a must in this location as the bigger supermarkets are 2 to 3 miles away. Have recommended to friends who were equally pleased with the apartment and local facilities. |

Great apartment, just a stones throw from superb restaurants and the beach. This was a last minute getaway right at the end of the season so it was very quiet but I spent every day on the beach from dawn to dusk and then went to the local hostelries which are excellent and you have a great choice of restaurants all within five minutes walk. I'd hired a car so we drove to different beaches but fireman's beach is only a five minute walk away and the onsite pool was always quiet. The Apartment itself is on the top floor with views of the tennis courts on one side and the pool on the other. It's air conditioned but we just kept the huge patio doors open and let the lovely breeze blow through. It's very comfortable and quiet, well furnished and well managed by a couple of well informed English expats who were lovely to deal with. The front door handle was a bit loose on the inside - we mentioned it and it was fixed the same day. We've been on a few holidays in the Canaries, Greece and the Maldives since we went here but we're going back here next time. |

Well, what can I say? We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your apartment, and couldn’t have asked for anything else to be included there. It was every bit as spacious as you said, fully fitted out, and furnished beautifully. Lounge and bedrooms great, with plenty of storage. Everything we needed for self catering. The pool area is well equipped, plenty of sun beds, lovely clean water, and nicely laid out gardens. There are plenty of lovely restaurants close by, so we could just stroll down onto Kennedy Avenue and choose where to eat. Lots of variety.
The little coves and beaches are great as well, and very picturesque. It’s a lovely place to stay, and we certainly hope to stay there again in the future. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Really appreciated being met by Jill at the apartment and her running through how everything worked. More than delighted with the space in the apartment. I cooked some fantastic meals for myself and probably ate more healthily than I do at home. I thought the pool at Blue Electra was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Fantastic 10 days. I don’t want to go home yet.
