About the home

This fully equipped luxury apartment is perfectly situated in the quiet and well-liked locale of Kapparis (near Protaras) with its supermarkets, souvenir shops, bars and a fascinating diversity of restaurants that are open all year round. The nearest beach is the picturesque Fireman’s Cove and is just a short walk away. The resort of Protaras is a 5 minute drive, whilst the lively Ayia Napa is less than 15 minutes by car. Inland, the bustling town of Paralimni with its churches, cafe bars, shops and parks is less than 3km away.

If preferred to stay on site, the complex has its own sparkling kidney shaped swimming pool with showers, toilets and changing area. The apartment has an open plan living, dining and kitchen area which opens out through double patio doors onto the private balcony where there’s a table and chairs for al fresco dining in the afternoon and evening sun.

The apartment has its own balcony accessed from both the lounge and double bedroom. This area is perfectly illuminated for a romantic appearance. There are open views towards Famagusta and over the fields to the Mediterranean.

The Blue Electra complex has a communal outdoor pool with shower, toilet and changing facilities and a large terrace with sun loungers.

Blue Electra apartment is ideally placed near shops, restaurants, bars and beaches of Kapparis. Car rental is available in Kapparis, so why not use Blue Electra as a base to explore Eastern Cyprus as well, and its popular holiday destinations of Ayia Napa and Protaras, fascinating towns such as Paralimni and beautiful beaches at Fig Tree Bay, Ayia Trias, Capo Grecko and beyond. For the more active, there are plenty of snorkelling equipment rentals, boat rentals, dive shops and parascending as well as bike rentals for exploring inland.

Blue Electra is just a few kilometres from the border with the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and just over an hour’s drive from the Cyprus capital, Nicosia. The popular areas of Larnaca, Limassol and Paphos are within easy reach as are the Trodos Mountains which dominate the centre of Cyprus and provide a challenge for the adventurous walker.

The other end has a fully equipped kitchen, including extra extras eg wok, extra teaspoons, cheese sandwich toaster (to keep kids hunger at bay for late restaurant meals) and picnic boxes. The dining area can be set up for 6. A/C & Heating unit.

The Protaras / Kapparis area

Of course all the little coves and beaches facing east are a must. Most roads leading east let you find your own beach cove . Whilst the wider longer beaches at the other towns also have appeal. Please check out Nissi beach just west of Ayia Napa for an amazing swim, the water just glistens with the sunshine reflecting off the white sand under the water.

Please check out the churches for lovely locations, murials and of course views (the churches are often built on hills.)

There are local Museums and a sealife Centre.

There is also a massive indoor play centre in Paralimni, next to Lydl, which includes bowling, play zone and computer games.

Easyjet, BA, Cyprus airways and others fly direct to Larnaca Airport (LCA). Southern Cyprus.

Dont be afraid to book two separate single journeys with different carriers to bring price down and better flight times.

Car hire, we have always used www.economycarrentals.com (they are off airport site - so a lot cheaper).

Apartment from Larnaca airport is approx 60km and 45 mins easy drive (on left side of road like England) on quiet main roads.

If using Pafos airport allow 2 hours drive.
