The Famagusta District

CYPRUS has a wonderful climate and temperatures in JULY/AUGUST can reach over 40 degrees.The evening temperatures are also very warm and hence the need for airconditioning.The summer season tends to go on alot longer than other meditteranean resorts and temperatures can still be well into the 80s in November.Winter bookings are welcomed and days are pleasant and warm,evenings go cooler but then you would have the benefit of the dual heating system within the villa.Were else in the med can you ski in the troodos mountains in the morning and sunbathe on a beautiful beach in the afternoon.The island has 2 golf courses at present being about a 2 hour drive from the villa,but golf courses for this area are in the planning stages and hopefully in the not to distant future these courses will be established.

Protaras / Central Protaras area

Protaras has plenty to offer including wonderful beaches and watersports of all types are well catered for.The centre of protaras has an abundance of shops banks carhire etc and there are many festivals taking place throughout the year these are generally advertised in the cyprus mail the local paper.Protaras has a small water park but Ayia Napa which is a 15 minute drive away has one of the largest water parks in europe and is a brilliant day out for all the family.The quaint town of Paralimni can be reached by local buses or in a car a 10 minute drive away this is also well worth a visit.The smaller resorts of Pernera and kapparis can be reached again by local bus and are a 5 minute drive away.Should you wish to go further afield it is now possible to go over to the north of Cyprus the border crossing point is a 20 minute drive from the villa at Vrysoulles once across you can visit the Ghost town of Famagusta or an hours further drive would take you to the beautiful harbour at Kyrenia and its fabulous waterfront fish restaurants.The island of Cyprus and in particular Protaras has plenty to offer all holidaymakers.

How to get there

Charter flights to Larnaca airport are normally on a Wednesday and Sunday and depart from many uk regional airports.companies such as first choice,thomas cook,thomsons,xl airways are good choices and can offer 7/10/11/14 night durations.for schedule flights we suggest you try british airways,cyprus airways,eurocypria who have numerous flights a week into larnaca.should you be lucky enough to travel from luton airport fly monarch has introduced a new schedule service 4 times a week from the middle of march 2007 and have really cheap prices.

Castle villa is a stunning 3bedroomed villa and has spacious accommodation.To the ground floor you have a spacious lounge,dining room area were patio windows lead out to the pool area.There is a fully fitted kitchen with many extras including Dishwasher,Washing Machine,microwave etc.There is a downstairs cloakroom with wc and wash basin.To the first floor you have 3 spacious bedrooms all fitted with large wardrobes and the largest of the 2 bedrooms having patio windows leading onto balconies were you have superb views of the coastline.The family bathroom is also located on this floor and once again is spacious with wc,sink,bath with shower over and a vanity unit.The whole of the property is fully airconditioned making this a VILLA NOT TO BE MISSED

To the outside of the property you will find a secure parking area and being fully fenced makes this property very private.To the rear of the property you will find the large private swimming pool and plenty of sunbeds for your use.The rear of the property also has table and chairs and an outside bbq for your personnal use.

It is not our policy to take bookings from single sex parties or those under 25 without prior consent from the owner.Should this be agreed then a security/breakages deposit will be required and payable with the final balance.There is a £25.00 per week charge for air conditioning throughout the summer season.

Conditions

We can provide many nursery items such as travel cots,prams,safety gates etc and there is a small charge of 5cypounds per item per week.Please enquire at time of booking.A welcome pack including sugar,tea,coffee,bread etc will be provided for you upon your arrival at the villa.For those lucky enough to stay 2 weeks at the villa a mid clean can be provided at an extra charge of 15cypounds please ask our manager for this facility.
