The Famagusta region
Cape Greco is also known as Cavo Greco and is a headland in the south-eastern part of the district. It is at the southern end of the Famagusta Bay and is frequently visited by many tourists for its natural beauty. It is a protected coastal nature park and from the high points on the cliff that rests at the cape one can view amazing sights out to sea. According to local legend it is also the home of the 'Ayia Napa sea monster'.
The Protaras area
This superb retreat lies on the seashore of one of the islands best resorts, surrounded by lush gardens, just 100 metres from the centre of Protaras, 5 km from the town of Paralimni, and only a short stroll away from the beach, restaurants, bars and shopping centre.
