The Famagusta District
Cyprus boasts of blue sky and sunshine 360 days of the year. While the summers are hot with temperatures regularly in the 80s and 90s the winters are mild with temperatures in the low 70s up until Xmas January and February the temperature drops to 50s and 60s with the occassional rainy day. It is not unusual for temperatures to reach the 70s at this time of year but the days are short.
The crystal clear sea and the golden sandy beaches of the Famagusta area gently embrace the eastern corner of the island with the popular resort of Protaras a veritable paradise for anyone who loves the sea and water sports or simply relaxing on the beach. Within a few minutes driving distance from Protaras is the beautiful harbour of Ayia Napa and the medieval monastery in the middle of the town. Also to be seen are the windmills and small churches of the surrounding villages including the beautiful church of Profitis Elias at the top of a rocky hill, and not to be missed the picturesque fishing refuge at Potamos Liopetriou with its varied selection of coffee shops and fish tavernas. The larger town of Paralimni is a ten minute drive and offers a varied combination of local tavernas, traditional and modern shopping facilities, and a huge variety of cafe-bars. The town square in Paralimni is dominated by two beautiful churches which attract visitors in their hundreds. Protaras is a major tourist resort and together with its beautiful beaches, luxury hotels, restaurants and sohisticated night life, has become one of the most famous holiday destinations in the Med.
Protaras / Central Protaras area
In a unique position on a new development this villa is only minutes walk away from the Restaurants, Bars and Shops of Protaras town centre. For those whose sole intention is relaxation Protaras beaches are the best on the island. All of them have beautiful white sand and crystal clear water. All the nearby 4 and 5 star hotels have Gym and Spa facilities and welcome non residents.
Golf Information: The nearest Golf Courses i.e. Secret Valley and Aphrodite Hills are approx 90 mins drive away but according to some recent guests well worth a visit. Thankfully new courses for this area are in the pipeline and we await their completion with impatient anticipation.
Skiing Information: There is snow on the Troodos mountains in January and February and skiing is a very popular pastime for both locals and visitors. Where else but Cyprus can you both relax by the pool in your cossie in the morning and then spend the afternoon skiing? Ski hire is available and there is a ski school for beginners.

NO-ONE HAS TO SLEEP ON A SOFA BED OR A PUT YOU UP. We can arrange for the hire of babies travel cots. The rental charge is CY£5 per week and is payable locally. Also available are high chairs, pushchairs and baby walkers.
Further details outdoors: - Outdoors there are ample sunbathing areas around your own PRIVATE (8.5m x 4.5m) pool and an abundance of supremely comfortable sunloungers. For alfresco dining, tables, chairs and brollies are all provided along with a super quick and easy gas barbeque. - Please be aware that the surface around the swimming pool is slippery when wet. Please be sure to supervise children at all times and don't allow them to run in this area. It is absolutely vital that only the plastic glasses provided are used outdoors.

AIR CON/HEATING units are installed in all rooms and their careful use is charged at £35 per villa per week. To avoid incurring extra expenses it is essential that the air conditioning units are only put into operation while you are in the property with all the doors and windows firmly closed. N.B. IT takes less than 3 minutes to reduce the heat in a room to a comfortable temperature once the unit has been switched on. - IN THE PAST we have discouraged clients from renting our villas in the winter months because we were concerned as to whether they would be warm enough in the evenings with only the air con units for warmth. We are pleased to announce that we have now remedied this problem and have had installed LIVING FLAME GAS STOVES to the lounge area. They produce 4KW of heat, more than enough to warm the whole villa
Conditions
Arrival and departure dates are flexible. Single sex parties are not normally admitted but the decision is at the discretion of the owner so please enquire.
- Breakages . It is not our policy to take security deposits. However accidents can happen and the customer will be held responsible for any breakages or damage to the property. All incidents must be reported to our manager and compensation made. Under no circumstances must any property for use inside the villa be moved outside.
