About the home
The owners of this property have spared no expense in bringing it up to the standard that it now is. The ground floor is open plan and incorporates a lounge, dining area, kitchen and guest WC. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms and a family bathroom. Though the furnishings and fittings inside the house are to a very high standard it is the rear garden where the property really excells and has to be experienced to be believed. Going through the garden is like a voyage of discovery there are so many facets to it. At night when the sun has gone down and you are relaxing in either the pergola, sat in the Jacuzzi with a glass of wine or sat at the garden table surrounded by mature plants illuminated by the garden lights with the tranquil sound of running water from the gardens water feature and the muted tones of the piped music comming from the cunningly disguised speakers in the gareden you relise that it doesn't get any better than this.

The Famagusta region
The Famagusta region of Cyprus boasts some of the most beautiful beaches on the Island. There are countless small coves with fine sandy beaches and safe bathing that are just waiting to be discovered. If your interests life further afield car hire is quite reasonable and any destination in the South of Cyprus is no further than 2 hours away.
Cyprus has 340 days of sunshine each year, with a hot summer and mild winters. In the winter months you can go skiing and then drive back to the villa to sunbathe. English is widely spoken with English shops such as Topshop, Zara, Claire's Accessories, Debenhams and M&S. Iceland even stock food in the supermarkets - handy for kids who want chicken nuggets and chips! If you like walking, cycling, being informed or entertained or just relaxing Cyprus has it all.
Drive up to the Troodos and go to Mt Olympus, the views are simply breathtaking. The little mountain villages offer all sorts of different experiences from wine tasting and dancing to simply sitting down for a meal and enjoying the local way of life. Walk along the Ayia Napa strip, or visit the harbour and take a boat trip to see the Deserted City of Famagusta, do some diving or swimming then chill out whilst the captain serves lunch. There is so much to do you simply cannot list it all, try Cyprus and have a great holiday, and the one thing you're certain to do is, come back again.
Cyprus is one of those rare countries that provides both skiing and sun bathing. Troodos mountains have skiing between January and March, on the mountain Mt Olympus. Troodos mountains are approx 1hrs drive from the apartment.
The Protaras / Kapparis area
Nestling along the coast close to the border with Northern Cyprus, is the beautiful resort of Kapparis. Restful cafe bars, restaurants and several small supermarkets and a bakery populate the main road.
Kapparis is a growing village with new shops opening all the time. Recent openings include an Italian restaurant, a tea shop, two new wine bars - Mello and the Vines, a Chinese restaurant as well as a new restaurant positioned on the left just as you drive into Kaparris which has quickly established a good reputation.
Other more established outlets are updating their image to broaden their appeal to the tourist, such as Falaros restaurant, also now with bar.
There are several small beaches just off the main street with water sports and snack bars.
The Malama Hotel has a pool, bar, shop & tennis courts, all open to the public.
Ten minutes walk from the High Street is Fireman's beach, aptly named due to the fire service training school at the top of the cliff. From here you can see right across the bay to Famagusta resort with its empty hotels and deserted beaches.
Kapparis is a relatively restful resort but one that is growing in popularity and is now open all year. Yet it is close enough to Protaras & Ayia Napa should you wish to raise the tempo of your holiday.
The Cypriot people are naturally very friendly, welcoming and helpful. They have a strong tradition for family life so children are made to feel welcome in most restaurants.
English is spoken by most Cypriots.
A 15 minute drive will take you to Ayia Napa with its clubs bars, discos, restaurants and not for the faint hearted there is also a sling shot and bungee jump into the sea. The old harbor with its fish restaurants and where you can take a half day pleasure cruise or fishing trip is also well worth a visit. This setting is ideal for a safe family holiday. Hire a car and explore the Island, there are plenty of places of interest to see. At the most you are only about 2.5 hours away from anywhere in Cyprus. Larnaca Airport is 40 minutes by car.

| Airport: | Larnaca: 40 km |
Direct flights to Cyprus are available from a number of UK airports with additional budget airlines adding routes from March 2009. This will increase competition which, with landing fees at Larnaca airport reducing substantially this year will provide extra value.
Whilst Cyprus has two international airports with Paphos to the west of the island, Larnaca is the airport of choice when visiting the Famagusta area. It is a 40 minute drive from the airport to the villa.
Regular schedule flights to Larnaca are operated by British Airways and Cyprus Airways.
Hiring a car is recommended (preferably one with air conditioning), if you wish to tour the island and sample all that it has to offer. There is a wide choice available based at the airport. Oh and there is no need to worry, we will provide you with a map and clear directions from the airport. Remember too that they drive on the left the same as in the UK and that road signs are also in English.
Alternatively we can arrange airport transfers and car hire at preferential rates.
