Kapparis itself has a several excellent modern and traditional restaurants, alongside a variety of family-friendly bars. There is a large supermarket nearby (Orphanides, a 3min drive from apartment) and a superb 24hr bakery within reasonable walking distance of your holiday home.Carrefour, Lidl, M&S and Sports Direct, have all recently opened stores nearby. The Armonia complex has a modern pool area with large swimming pool, smaller children's pool and beautiful views out to sea.

Will & Jacky, my friendly local property managers are only a phone call away during your stay. They are on hand to answer any questions you have regarding the apartment, complex or the surrounding area.
As mentioned above, Air conditioning is included in the rental rate, however, excessive use will result in £35 per week being deducted from your security deposit. Electrical readings are taken before and after your stay for this purpose. The air con units are excellent and will cool down a room within 5 min, even in August.
Children are extremely welcome with cot and high chair provided on request at time of booking.
25% non refundable deposit payable at time of booking. Balance payable 8 weeks prior to your arrival. Cheque/cash/bank transfer or Paypal are all acceptable payment methods.
(Beach towels not supplied)
Due to the high standard of fittings in this apartment, a £100 security deposit is required with your final balance. This is refunded within 14 days of your departure, once we've confirmed that the property has been left in the same excellent condition as you found it.

The Famagusta region


Enjoying an enviable climate, Cyprus has an average of 340 days of sunshine per year. The summers are long, hot and dry, stretching from early April to late October. Winters are mild and pleasantly sunny. Famagusta district with its excellent year round climate, sandy blue flag beaches and charming villages has developed to include two of the best resorts on the island, Protaras and Ayia Napa.
With new property limited to just three storeys by strict planning laws, the sprawl of ugly high rise blocks so often found elsewhere has been prevented. Famagusta retains many links to its past and is still an important farming region with charming and picturesque windmills dotted across the countryside.
The nearby traditional village centres of Paralimni and Dherynia offer an insight into the real Cypriot way of life. Well connected, a short drive along the motorway can take you to the capital city of Nicosia or up into the Troodos Mountains, where you can even go skiing in the winter!..well worth a day trip at any time of the year.
The Protaras / Kapparis area
Kapparis is peaceful, picturesque and perfect for anyone looking for a relaxing holiday with amenities nearby. Kapparis has several superb restaurants, a handful of cafes, alongside family friendly bars, shops and beaches for a relaxing holiday. It is also the perfect base for exploring the rest of the Famagusta district and beyond, without being amidst the tourist crowds. If hectic nightlife is what you're after, then pay a visit to nearby Ayia Napa. In addition to the nightlife, you'll find a real family resort with excellent restaurants, Europe's biggest waterpark and plenty to keep kids amused. For a true contrast with a cultural and historical twist, the trip to Famagusta town is to be recommended and can be booked locally at modest cost.
If you follow the nearby coastal paths a little you'll discover a host of secluded bays and coves all with crystal clear blue water. The most well known beach in the area, Firemans Bay, is also just a 25min walk away. Many of the walks have been recently upgraded with smart decking and evening lighting.
The apartment is ideally located for those who want to escape and relax, yet close enough to the larger resorts to benefit from all that they have to offer, should you want something more lively. Excellent traditional restaurants make for a perfect romantic candlelit dinner, followed by a stroll along the moonlit beach. Kapparis is ideal for families and couples, blending the traditional Cypriot hospitality with modern bars, restaurants, supermarkets & shops.

The apartment is easily reached from Larnaca airport. Cheap flights are readily available from the UK at all times of the year. Easyjet, Monarch, Jet2.com, Thomas Cook, Thomson, British Airways, Cyprus Airways & Aegean Airlines are amongst the many airlines that operate regular flights to the new multi-million euro terminal at Larnaca. Guests can also choose to fly to Paphos and take the longer but easy drive to the east of the island.
Car hire is the best way to obtain maximum flexibility and enjoyment from your holiday. This can be obtained at a cost of around 170EUR per week in peak season (Ford Fiesta or similar). The journey from Larnaca airport to Kapparis is around 40mins by car. Driving in Cyprus is really easy with the Cypriots also driving on the left and all road signs in English. Details of the best & cheapest car hire deals can be supplied on booking. It is advisable to book your car hire in advance, as last minute car hire is often difficult to obtain in peak season in the main resorts.
Taxi Transfers to and from Larnaca airport are also an option and cost around 55 EUR each way. Always agree the price in advance with the taxi driver if using this option.

We had a really great holiday, there is so much to do in Cyprus and the apartment is in a superb location. When you book a private villa you want to feel re-assured that when you get there you will be able to find the apartment and the keys will be waiting for you and that someone will answer the phone if you get into difficulties. We felt very confident from the start because Ewan keeps you informed by giving you a very comprehensive welcome pack with all directions and how to get in the apartment so if your flight arrives late (like ours) you don't need to worry. I can also say that it is important to know there is a management team standing by to sort out any problems. I did need to call the management team quite late at night and our problem was dealt with without hesitation. We went in May and the weather was a very pleasant 28 degrees and sunny every day, the complex itself was very quiet and friendly with the pool warm enough for a swim to cool off. In the welcome pack there are many suggestions of good restaurants in the area which we also tried out and can honestly say the food in Cyprus is fantastic, we enjoyed every meal out. Breakfasts and lunches we had in the apartment and found there to be all the utensils required and of course there is even a dishwasher. I thought the price we paid for the week was very reasonable and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to my friends. Response: Thanks for your feedback. The Apartment is well appointed with all of the facilities that you need, is extremely comfortable and has a fantastic Balcony/Terrace area. The complex itself has a lovely pool area, is easily found with the directions provided and is approximately a 30-40 Minute drive from Larnaca Airport. It is also within easy travelling distance of Protaras and Ayia Napa and it is quite easy to walk into Kapparis in around 20 minutes. There is an excellent Bakery close by which is again in walking distance and the nearest Supermarket is around a 5 minute drive. Overall I could not fault the apartment, the facilities or the area in general and would definitely recommend this to friends and family. Response: Thanks for your leaving your feedback. Before booking apartment spoke to owner and found him to be very helpful. Directions to apartment sent in welcome pack and were very accurate. Excellent apartment which is clean and spacious. Felt like home from home. Everything in there what you need for a lovely holiday. In a very quiet area, just whats needed to relax and unwind. Met with Will and Jacky who were very friendly and always on hand if needed. Good range of restaurants in Kapparis but sometimes stayed in and watched TV. Will definitely go back and would definitely recommend. |

The apartment was brilliant, in fact we stayed in quite a few times as we had all the amentites to cook, the balcony was great to sit out.
We would definitely come again, in fact I dont think the photo's do the apartment the justice it deserves, it was so much bigger than what we expected and it was very comfortable. I'd be happy to provide you with some feedback for your website if you want?
We loved the area, its exactly what we wanted from the holiday, somehwere quiet to relax and then be able to get to other places, I have stayed near Protaras before and it was so busy that you couldnt relax.
