Welcome to our beach front home. We offer a unique and romantic seaside experience for our guests. You will be as close to the sea as possible on the West Coast. As soon as you open the doors to the Villa you will see the beautiful water of the Caribbean and hear the gentle lapping of the calm waves that have made the West Coast popular with the rich and famous. From almost every room including the Master Bedroom you will see the clear turquoise water. You will enjoy your meals or cocktails while watching the sunsets on the beautiful and spacious waterfront terrace, which is perfect for entertaining. Just a couple steps from the terrace is our 6 persons beachside spa. The Villa has a master bedroom with a gorgeous view of the sea and beach from all windows. There are many tropical flowers, plants and fruit trees around the property. If you want to have a romantic and relaxing vacation than our Villa is a great choice for you. The Villa has a very well equipped kitchen for those who love to cook. Maid service is provided three times a week. The dinning area has a beautiful glass table with seating for eight plus small table in the eating knook just off the kitchen. The Villa has ceiling fans, tiled floors and cool breezes through out the property. From the Master Bedroom you can watch the sunsets while laying in bed from the one of the bedroom windows with sea views in the Master Bedroom. The Master Bedroom has an en suite bathroom, A/C, powerful yet quite ceiling fan, vanity table, magnifying mirror, side tables with lamps and plenty of drawers and closet space. The guest bedroom has A/C, ceiling fan, bed-side tables with lamps and plenty of closet space.

Sunny Banks is a coral stone Villa built over 75 years ago and one of the first beach front properties in our area. The Villa is directly on the beach and no other home of the West Coast of Barbados allows guest to be as close to the beautiful Caribbean Sea as our property. Zoning laws for the last 30 years do not permit homes to be built so close to the beach. When our family purchased it 15 years ago it was lovingly restored and has had subsequent updating and refurbishments every couple of years. The sea in our area is very calm and perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Just off shore we have beautiful coral reefs with living coral, sponges and sea life. Depending of the tide, time of year and sea it is possible to walk on the beach North as far as the Cliff Restaurant. Many guests walk the beach to Jordans Supermarket in Fitts Village or Il Tempo beach bar. South of our property is Batts Rock Beach and it is possible to walk to Bridgetown in less than a couple hours.
Spa Area:
The Spa area has to be our favorite place when we get the opportunity to stay at the Villa. The spa area is surrounded by white picket fencing and shrubs to make it as private as possible yet still let guest have views of the sea while relaxing. It is a luxury therapy spa by Sweetwater Spas with over 35 powerful jets and different seating positions to give a full body massage. After a day of water skiing or playing golf we often watch the sunset with a bottle of wine in the spa. The Spa can only be accessed from steps just off the beach front terrace. Our property manager checks and cleans the spa several times a week. We do not use harsh chloride but the more gentle bromide which is much better for skin.
Our Staff:
Beautiful Beach, Beautiful Villa but the other important ingredient to a great holiday is our staff. Just read the reviews about Natalie our faithful housekeeper for almost 10 years and Paulina our attentive property manager. Natalie takes great pride in our property. She cleans the Villa but more importantly she tries to look after our guest. In fact, some guests say she cleans too much! When you arrive just ask her what fruit we may have on the trees and she will try to get you some. Usually we have limes and bananas all year with our two mango trees and avocado tress bearing about twice a year. Plus a special fruit called a sugar apple and bay leaf tree. Paulina is a gem; she likes to get to know our guest and will at times take them on the Hash House Harrier runs, shopping to Bridgetown Vegetable Market on Saturdays or Fish Market. She is a professional chef by trade too. Paulina is available at all times to solve any problem.

Prospect is a residential area between Holetown and Bridgetown. Our beach is very quite and great area for a relaxing hassle free holiday.

Sunny Banks is a beach-side property in Prospect, St. James. We have a very centralized location making it easy for guest to explore the island. Prospect is between Fitts Village and Batts Rock Beach both less than a 10 min walk away. Prospect is a quiet residential area with a few restaurants and one hotel called the Waves. Less than a 10 min walk is Fitts Village with a grocery store, small cafe and popular beachside Italian restaurant. Guest walking in the opposite direction of Fitts Village will come to Batts Rock Beach also known as Paradise Beach one of the best beaches on the island. It's possible to walk to the edge of Bridgetown on the beach from Batts Rock passing a couple popular beach bars, Mount Gay Rum distillery and the World Famous Kensington Cricket Oval. Our property is on all the major bus routes too.
