Built from locally sourced wood this beautiful lodge, chalet features 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen. It is situated near the High Tatras in Slovakia, great for skiing, rafting and mountain biking.

Budget airlines fly to Krakow and Bratislava, car rental is cheap, ski hire and lift passes are cheap and hot chocolates are the best!

Nearest ski resort is 20minutes away, it has numerous chairlifts, and a cabin car. In the summer you can stick your mountain bike on the chairlift and there are tracks and jumps coming down the mountain.

The East Slovakia / High Tatra Mountains region

Chalet is close to a lovely river and is part of a small development (Tri Vody) of holiday chalets (all different styles), great for picnics in the summer.

The area has distinct seasons, summer is hot, winter has snow.

Budget airlines fly to nearby Krakow and Bratislava, car rental is cheap, ski hire and lift passes are cheap and hot chocolates are the best!

Pribylina area

Across the road from Tri Vody is an open air folk musuem, with an orginal gothic church. Further afield are Aquaparks with saunas and Spas and water slides for children http://www.tatralandia.sk
There is a cable car journey to the peak of Lomnicky Stit (2600m) and a stunning lake in Strbske Pleso, which you can tobaggon across in the Winter.
Best skiing is probably in Jasna. http://www.tatry.net/jasna/

How to get there

SkyEurope (www.skyeurope.com) fly to Poprad very cheaply. Car hire is also very cheap in Slovakia even though they are now part of the Euro.

RyanAir fly cheaply to the stunning capital Bratislava, and from there it is a 3 hour journey to the chalet. But it is worth visiting the capital for a night or two as it is a great place.
