About the home
The cottage is on one level and situated in our one acre garden overlooking Beacon Fell. The cottage itself comprises of a comfortable lounge with dining and kitchen area, everywhere is well equipped. There is a double bedroom and a single. The area is very quiet but you can, fish play golf and fine dine in the local area. There are market towns within easy reach.
The Yorkshire Dales and the Lake district are also both within easy reach So! You can shop till you drop or just relax and enjoy the quiet. We are 4star rated and gold in green tourism.

The Northern England / Lancashire region
We are in the Forest of Bowland. In a very rural quiet area Within travelling distance of the Ribble Valley Lancaster and the market town of Garstang Winner of Britain in Bloom for three years.
The river Wyre is a great bird watching area as are the fells that surround us. Ther are a lot of historical villages to investigate
The Preston, Lancashire / The Forest of Bowland area
We have the Bowland Festival each year and during the summer various agriculture shows. Quite a few of the villages also have open gardens during the summer months.
During the spring and autumn the trees are a wonder mixture of colours.

Leave M 6 northbound at junction 32 follow A6 signposted Garstang, about 5 miles Bilsborrow, Roebuck pub on the right.
Turn right there (Billsborrow Lane) follow left hand side of the road. Turn left there and The Garden Cottage is first on the right at Fairhurst cottage.

Everything about this cottage was great! It was so homely well furnished and bright. Lots of goodies left for us ( Loved the teddy on the bed and enjoyed the choccis he was holding) Pam was lovely ,very friendly nothing too much for her, the garden beautiful and the dogs great |
