Fox Crossing Bed and Breakfast is ideally situated in a rural location in the village of Preston, just 3 miles from Weymouth and 6 miles from Dorchester. The village has plenty of amenities within walking distance,wine shop/deli, chemist, spa shop/post office and 3 local pubs where you can relax with a drink or enjoy a meal. Bowleaze Cove beach just 15mins walk on easy access footpaths.
Activities in the area are bird watching, golfing, wind surfing, paragliding, sailing or just walking.
At Fox Crossing we offer a newly renovated ground floor bedroom with kingsize bed and shower en-suite also your own private lounge where you can unwind and read a book or watch tv/dvd and have a tea or coffee.

There is a bus stop opposite Fox Crossing for visits to Weymouth town, beach and harbour.
Preston is a rural village with 3 pubs where you can enjoy an evening meal or just you can enjoy an evening out in Weymouth at
a Harbourside Pub or Seafood Restaurant and watch the boats coming and going and afterwards take a stroll along the old
Other activites nearby include Paragliding, Windsurfing, Snorkelling, Sailing, Fishing, Horse Riding and Golf, or just
walking over the cliff tops taking in the magnificient views of the coast and secluded beaches.
The South Coastal footpath is just a 10minute walk away which has beautiful secluded beaches and fabulous scenery.
Also Overcombe beach is about a 10 minute walk and from there you can walk all the way to Weymouth along the
beach wall and take in the sea air, or have coffee or lunch at the beachside café.
There are numerous places of interest to visit, the famous Portland Bill Lighthouse. Climb the ancient ruins of Corfe Castle or ride the Swanage Steam Railway.
Visit the Abbotsbury Swannery and Abbotsbury sub tropical gardens and take afternoon tea in
the tea rooms.
Take a day out to Bridport or Lyme Regis and go fossil hunting.
Explore Thomas Hardy Country and visit the birthplace of Thomas Hardy.
Visit the ancient hill carving of the Cerne Giant in the pretty village of Cerne Abbas.
