A lovely well equipped country house (and annexe sleeping an extra six persons if required at extra cost)with all rooms accessible for assisted disabled guests throughout both properties.Fabulous for short winter breaks.A wonderful rural retreat in the stunning Welsh Countryside.Not the cheapest but one of the best.!

The North Wales / Snowdonia / Denbigh/Flint/Conwy region

Bron Y Bryn nestles in a very pretty rural hamlet called Bryniau (meaning hillside)Being in the Bay of Llandudno and the Great and Little Ormes the climate can be very clement as a result of this protection.
The expanse of the Snowdon Range Mountains tower majestically in the distance and Capel Curig and Snowdon itself look magnificent in the evening sunshine.Enjoy the spectacular sunsets.
There are many castles on this coastline Rhuddlan Castle being only two miles away.Betwys Y Coed,Beddgelert ,Penrhyn Castle ,Bangor Gaol ,Errddig Hall Bodelwyddan Castle,Chester Zoo,Welsh Mountain Zoo,Mountain Railways, Bodnant Gardens,Plas Coch and the Cable car and Ski Slope at Llandudno are only a few of the local attractions to be visited.A truly fabulous base to stay and explore the North Wales Coast.


Prestatyn area

Prestatyn is a very small but vibrant town with a lot of nice eating places,and a fabulous blue flag safe sandy beach.It has many Good Pub restaurants and ,Chinese ,Indian ,Balti,Tappas,There are many local festivals ,May Day ,Gala Day,Kite flying,local tennis courts and squash courts and fitness spas.
Vintage Car Rally,Flower Shows and many more during the year.The Ffrith Beach now offers an excellant Tappas Bar and amusements for the children and a small ice rink and attractions.Nova Swimming and health complex.Rhyl Sun Centre facility bing only 7 miles away.Several local health and fitness centres nearby.
Lots of hairdressers,chip shops and food shops.Dyserth has a picturesque waterfall with a little cafe below where you can sit and enjoy the view.There is also a very good public house nearby.The New Inn.Gwaenysgor is also a very rural village nearby with a lovely viewpoint overlooking the bay of Wirral and Llandudno.There is an old fashioned duck pond where you can feed the ducks getting back to nature in this lovely village.The old churchyard mentioned in the Doomsday book and local hostlery The Eagle and Child servicing really home cooked meals.A lovely unspoilt area to stay in giving you peace and quiet of the countryside but still good access to all amenities.


How to get there

Bron Y Bryn Lodge sleeps 12 with six en suite all ground floor bedrooms.It is situated in a beautiful rural area of North Wales whilst being quite close to the main A 55 Expressway.near to the lovely resort of Prestatyn Mostyn Ferryport is nearby and LIverpool and Caernarvon Airports are within an hours drive away.holyhead is 55 miles away and is an hour on the expressway.
From A55 Junc 31 to A5151 to Newmarket/Trelawnydd Past the Crown Inn on your left and over the 30MPH sign on the road Look for sign on left Bryniau and a sign on right Gwaenysgor .Turn right here and at the crossroad turn left (Bryniau)
Bron y Bryn is the first house on the left as you see the sea view on your right .Sharp turn into the large car park.

The unusual semi circular front lounge conservatory looks impressive in the evening sunlight.
facing southwest it has its fair share of the evening sun.There is a lovely patio with barbecue at the front of the property from which you can see the Irish Sea and the Llandudno Great andf little Ormes and Snowdonia.
There is a ramp up to the front door for visitors with mobility problems,and a drop off area at the entrance.

A 10% deposit will secure a booking and the balance due 8 weeks before arrival.Xmas and New Year payment 12 weeks before arrival.
The property must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure and available 4-00pm on the day of arrival.
