Trallwyn Bach Cottage studio is full of charm and character with curvy stone walls and wonderful views to the moors. It is an ideal hideaway for 1 or 2 people and very economically priced ideal for people with a small budget for a holiday.

Although just a small studio, it has everything you need for your holiday there is a small fitted kitchen area with halogen cooker, sink+fridge, toaster and kettle. Small living area with seating for 2. And a small shower room with shower sink + loo. The kingsize bed is in a stone alcove with wonderful views to the moor with sheep+wild ponies grazing. We have just fitted a very small wood burning stove to the studio which means it is very cosy + warm.

Outside there is a very small private seating area, there are communal gardens and direct access to the moor+Mountains. Pottery tuition is available between Easter and October. Anna has a small pottery workshop in the garden. She offers tuition for family groups, children, adults+individuals. Suitable for the complete beginner or the more experienced. Avail Apr-Oct.

The West Wales/Pembrokeshire region

Stunning location in the foothills of the Preseli mountains, with direct access to the moor + mountains with sheep + wild ponies grazing. Close to the source of the bluestones for the inner ring of Stonehenge-Walk to Carn Meini the source of the bluestones for the inner ring of Stonehenge + just 5 minutes walk from Gors Fawr circle and even closer to the dreaming stone...

Preseli Hills

Trallwyn Bach is in Pembrokeshire Coastal National Park. The coastal path is amazing+takes you to wonderful beaches and bays and cliffs with an abundance of wild life.

Although Holiday lettings call it Clynderwen the area we are is very different, Clynderwen is actually 8 miles from here. This is the Preseli Hills area...

We are in a good position for exploring all areas of the county, here is the heart of the bluestone country with all the magic of ancient stones and rings.

Places to visit:

St Davids - Cathedral and galleries and great places to eat.

Pembroke - A wonderful Castle to visit -Carew Castle also close. ( Many other castles too)

Tenby - for a day out by the sea famous for the beautiful beaches and opposite Caldey island.

National Botanical Gardens- Just beyond Carmarthen.

Art Galleries and Craft Workshops - Pembrokeshire (see booklet Pembrokeshire Craft Trails)

Island visits - eg Skomer (go before July and see the puffins) - Ramsey island for wonderful birdlife seals etc Sea trips to see the dolphins - from Cardigan + Newport
