Cottage | 3 bedrooms | sleeps 5
This beautifully converted farm building is full of character and charm with thick curvy stone walls and beams. It has been lovingly restored by local craftsmen inspired by the architectural ideas of Rudolf Steiner.
Downstairs is open plan with oak flooring. The kitchen has an oil fired Rayburn for Winter use, a gas hob and electric oven and fitted kitchen. There is a pine dining area and the living room has two settees and a wood burning stove. It has a double bedroom, a twin bedded galleried bedroom and a single sleeping loft. Please note that the single sleeping loft is through an archway from the galleried bedroom + that it is not possible to stand in it...it is very popular with children. The whole building is quite open plan and different and quirky! Outside there is a small pond to the front (mostly fenced) and table chairs and bench. There is direct access to the moor with sheep and wild ponies. Gors Fawr stone circle, 5000 years old, is just 5 minutes walk from the cottages.
