The Loire Valley region

Pre-En-Pail is ideally situated to take in the rural countryside, go for walks or cycle rides or to get out and about and see the local attractions. The town has its own swimming pool, petanque courts, sports complex, market and shops. Within twenty minites drive is the castle at Carrouges, the spa town of Bagnoles de l'orne, or the market town of Alencon as well as a number of museums, churches fishing/activity lakes.

Pre en Pail, Mayenne

There is the forest behind us, with ideal walking to be had, and farming rural scenes to the front. We are situated fairly high up on the mountain, with spectacular views down and across the valley. There is an abundance of wildlife in the area, from the deer and boar in the forest, to the eagles, buzzards, swallows, and woodpeckers flying overhead, and even the very occasional snakes and lizards. We have lambs in the back garden that come up to the back door daily for their ration of bread, and two very friendly calves in the field behind us. We will also be getting a couple of ponies and a donkey soon, for guests to pet.
