Villa Kamelia is situated on the Kotor Bay fiord and is a front line property with its own swimming jetty into the fiord and a tiny beach/cove for those who prefer to swim from a beach & for younger ones. Villa Kamelia is a 'Listed 18th C Ancient Monument' and part of the unique UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Kotor Bay and Fiord. In a short drive or walk you can reach local waterside restaurants and get into Kotor old Town very easily an important part of your trip to Montenegro.
The Villa has been lovingly restored over the last 2 years and offers visitors an exclusive opportunity for an individual and very special holiday with family or friends. It is situated in a very quiet area with front line views to the water and has 3 raised terraces for breakfast/dining and sunbathing with shade from a fig tree and two grape vines. Sun loungers provided for guests, BBQ and a very well equipped kitchen.

The Villa is located just a few miles from the medieval walled city of Kotor (it's rather like a mini Dubrovnik) and offers a wonderful array of restaurants, coffee bars, shops, boutiques, nightclubs and ancient monuments and churches within its walled environs. There are mountain walks, white water rafting, diving trips, lake trips, National Parks, canoeing, waterskiing, museums, beaches galore, enough for you to go somewhere different every day of your stay...or stay put and read a book and swim from the doorstep of our Villa!!
Villa Kamelia has a little jetty opposite where you can moor a boat, set up chairs and sunbathe and just swim and cool off after a busy day. A few yards further along there is a tiny little beach which is ideal for smaller children wanting to play in the shallower waters.
Ideally located in quiet and unspoilt area your views are of the mountains reflected in the water and yet you can walk less than 50 yards to a tiny local shop that is often open for 12 hours a day and can supply most of your daily needs. A vital asset for last minute extras and for topping up supplies!
Montenegro is the most wonderful secret - an unspoilt and beautiful destination that is perfect for all ages and interests. A wide variety of restaurants abound along the fiord and within the walls of the old city there is a myriad of cobbled narrow streets and bars an cafes galore...always a view of the stunning black mountains and sparkling waters of the fiord. Villa Kamelia can sleep up to 14 but is priced for 6 + persons. Any guests over 6 will incur an additional charge of £20 per person per night to cover bed linen, towels and cleaning etc. Please contact us for rates and special offers outside of main season of July and August.

Plenty of parking is available immediately opposite the Villa beside the swimming punto. The Villa is raised up with front line terracing that is totally secure with attractive railings and gates. There is a small road that runs along the fiord from which you access the Villa. The Villa can sleep from 6-14 persons and full details of the bedrooms can be found on the next page. There are 5 double rooms (1 king double and 4 twins) 4 bath/shower rooms and one very large open plan floor with flexible accommodation for 2-4. There are 3 separate terrace areas for outside dining and entertaining... Immediately outside the front door is a lovely shaded area, to the right of the front door is the dining terrace' and then further to the right is the upper fig tree terrace all as seen in the photos above. The Villa is exceptional with the large amount of terracing directly alongside the fiord offering not only wonderful views but also a great variety of dining and sunbathing areas with a lovely shady spot under the fig tree for a quiet afternoon nap!! Vines grow across two terraces starting to provide greater shade around the house.

All terraces and the entrances are fully gated and secure. The terraces are raised and provide great views and easy access to the water but can be locked and kept safe if there are young children in your party. Boats are available to hire with or without skippers depending upon your certificates and can be moored on our mooring right outside the Villa.
