Casa da Audiência is a beautiful, 4-bedroom detached villa located between the towns of Monte Gordo and Altura in the eastern Algarve.
If you're looking for a relaxing holiday in the sun, this is the place to be! Take an early morning swim in the villa's pool to start off your day, then perhaps a stroll through the nearby nature reserve to admire the beautiful landscape. Spend the day on the local beach or take a wander through the nearby towns and villages for a taste of typical Portuguese life. At the end of the day, just imagine yourself on a warm summers evening enjoying a barbecue out on the porch and a glass or two of the local "vinho verde".

The Algarve region
Algarve's 200 kilometres of southern shoreline is one of Europe's most popular holiday destinations. Its stunning coastline, excellent golf courses and pleasant year round climate attract millions of tourists a year. Bordered on two sides by the Atlantic, the Algarve is divided from the rest of Portugal by a series of low lying mountains. In the east, the Guadiana river forms a scenic border with neighbouring Spain.
The rugged coastline and more tourism-oriented lifestyle of Western Algarve contrasts with the tranquil beauty of Eastern Algarve with its extensive, less crowded, golden sand beaches, warm waters and protected tidal marshlands. Here, the many small resorts along the coast have retained much of their character, keeping the charm of long ago. Here, tourism blends in perfectly with local activities creating a relaxed way of life.
Praia Verde area
The area knows as Casas Da Audiência is situated approximately half way between the towns of Altura and Monte Gordo, and near to Praia Verde, in the eastern Algarve. This area is mainly made up of private villas and has direct access, on foot or by car, to the beach.
Just a short drive away are the towns of: Monte Gordo (2 km) which used to be a small fishing village which, over the years, has transformed itself into a colourful, friendly and very Portuguese holiday resort; Vila Real de Santo Antonio (4 km) where you can stroll through the pedestrianised town centre and have a coffee in one of the many different cafes; Castro Marim (6 km) a historic town whose skyline is dominated by its fortress on top of the hill; Cacela Velha (7 km) a quaint and historic town with its 14th century church; Tavira (20 km) a historic town famous for its many churches, its river and the Roman footbridge. Ayamonte in Spain (8km) is a 15-minute ferry ride from Vila Real de Santo Antonio. Here you can try the local "tapas" and enjoy the Adalucuan way of life. Seville is a 90-minute drive away and well worth a visit.
There are several, year round, 18-hole golf courses within a 15-minute drive: Castro Marim, Quinta da Ria, Benamor, Quinta de Cima, the new Jack Nicklaus signature Monte Rei course and Quinta do Vale (designed by Seve Ballesteros). Across the border, in Spain, are several other outstanding golf courses within a 20-minute drive.
There are several agencies in Monte Gordo where you can book a wide selection of excursions. Some of these include a river cruise, jeep safari, Zoomarine (sea life park), water slide parks and day trips to Seville and Lisbon.

Monte Gordo also has its own Casino where you can try your luck on the roulette or take the safer option and watch the nightly show.
How to get there
Faro airport is only a 45-minute drive (A22 motorway junction only 1 km away). Seville (Spain) airport is 90-minutes away. Both airports are served by regular and budget airlines, which include: Easyjet, Ryanair, Jet2, Monarch, TAP & British Airways. Bmibaby also fly to Faro from Birmingham, East Midlands and Cardiff.
Major and local car rental services are at both airports.

It also shares access to a large terrace with bedroom 2. Bedroom 2 has twin beds and access to the terrace via sliding patio doors. Bedroom 3 has a double bed and its own terrace. Bedroom 4 has twin beds. All bedrooms have built-in wardrobes. There are 2 full bathrooms and 1 WC.
