About the home

The Villa has a fully equipped Kitchen and Utility room . The kitchen is part of a large family room with a 3 piece suite and large dining table. Glass doors lead out to the pool side veranda and BBQ area. Downstairs has a double en suite bedroom with pool side doors, a children's bedroom with a bunk style bed (single over full double).

Large walk in downstairs w/c & shower facility. Upstairs large double bedroom with full en suite and doors to veranda. twin bedroom with doors to veranda , separate shower and w/c. Large lounge with extensive comfy seating, bed settee log fire and TV. patio doors leading to veranda and steps down to pool. 2 travel cots are available

The split facilities make the villa ideal for two families sharing and is very child friendly and the level ground floor layout makes it ideal for anyone with mobility problems,
The villa is fully equipped for indoor or outdoor dining with acentral island cooking facility .
Towels for indoor use are provided , guests are requested to bring pool and beach towels

Upstairs bedrooms and lounge lead onto am extensive first floor veranda with individual tables and seating .There are extensive sea views to the south and west and mountain views to the North West. The veranda leads down stone steps to the extensive pool side patio.and covered external seating / BBQ area.
The large pool has a child friendly shallow circular section with steps leading down to the slopping main section and is ideal for pool games. The mature gardens have a large lawn for external games and an arch leading into an orchard area . Sun loungers , pool toys , sun umbrella , swing seat and occasional tables are all provided,

The rental rates do not include for central or pool heating which are charged as a separate supplement if required
Smokers are requested to smoke on the outside verandas only , ash trays are provided
Villa is cleaned and line changed on a weekly basis.

The Praia da Luz / Montinhos da Luz area

Praia Da Luz: This delightful village overlooks a pretty & sheltered bay, which has a very safe sandy beach & amazing rock formations. It is well supplied with restaurants and beach bars and there are some excellent cliff walks to neighbouring villages and beaches. The number of villas in the Luz area has increased considerably over the last few years, they are of a high quality and low density and have resulted in the facilities in the village being improved to match. There are water sports schools, and a Scuba Diving Centre, The Fishing Port of Lagos. The medieval walled town sits on a hillside overlooking the harbour & an impressive marina, the wide bay of golden sand, its picturesque cobbled streets & selection of markets mingled in with modern shops make it a must to visit. Numerous restaurants, street cafes together with night time street entertainers, lively bars and discos add to the charm. For those wanting culture art galleries, ancient monuments and museums are also nearby.

“GREAT HOLIDAY” Lovely well equiped villa - ideal for family holiday. Plenty of space both indoor and outdoor and the outdoor provided pleanty of shade for our 15 month old grandson. Also the layout of the villa provided privacy for both families. Well equipped kithchen and a welcome cleaning service midweek. Lovely walks nearby.

“Absolutely gorgeous, spacious villa with superb swimming pool in a peaceful area, short ride into to” 5 friends stayed here and loved the villa. Great pool, BBQ, sun terraces and nice rooms. The location is perfect for a relaxing pool holiday with access to nightlife. Nice bars and restaurants are a short drive or cheap taxi ride into Luz. There are many great beaches in the local area so would recommend a car. You can take a 10 min drive to Lagos for a more lively night out. Visit the burgau beach bar, embassy night club, slide and splash water park and Praia Donna Anna beach

“Very nice Villa quiet lcoation” This is a really nice villa with good accommodation in the 3 main bedrooms. the 4th bedroom was a little disappointing as it was too small for the number of people it was supposed to cater for. The kitchen diner come down stairs lounge and the upstairs lounge were great, and the outside areas were really nice. There are plenty of sun beds and tables and chairs for outside dining. One of the best features is the swimming pool especially if you have children, our grand children loved it. Overall we had a great holiday and any little queries we had were dealt with promptly by the local agent. Response: The fourth bedroom is advertized as a childrens room and quiet clearly states that it has a single over double bunk bed and therfore can be used as such . It is small compared with the other rooms but does have adequate space two wardrobes and a chest of draws,

"Lovely villa, well situated, excellent pool all in all we had a brilliant holiday."

"The Villa was perfect for our family holiday, with plenty of room for for everyone to have their own space. The pool was great, keeping the children occupied for hours. The Villa itself is in a perfect location just up from the town of Luz so you get some great views but it's only a short walk to town. Its kept in superb condition and a BBQ by the ppol with some locally caught fish is a must. Thanks to Nick for helping with the car hire too."

"We had an absolutely fantastic time here! There was eight of us this time around as we took my husbands parents as well as his sister, brother and neice. We also had out one year old little boy too.
The Villa is spacious and has everything you could possibly need! The rooms are clean and very comfortable and the pool is fab too. Warm and quite big but not too deep if you have children. There are also pool toys in the outside storage room which is great as it saves you having to buy any. The location is not to far from Luz town either. Overall we had a fantastic time in this villa and I have recommended it to family and friends and we plan on returning next year! "
