The Praia da Luz / Parque da Praia area
Praia da Luz, once a small fishing village, has to offer a wide range of bars, sea front coffee shops, restaurants and mini markets, various shops and cinema. Only a short drive from the ancient historical town of Lagos with its marina, Luz is an all-round popular family relaxing resort and the EU blue flag rated, beautiful sandy beach with its sheltered waters is excellent for water sports.
Luz is indeed perfect for those who look for a peaceful, tranquil, low key holiday destination.
The new Boavista Golf Club is only 3km drive away. Palmares in Lagos is 9km and you are less than 30' drive from a wide number of renamed and much praised golf courses such as Penina, Parque da Floresta, Pinta Gramacho, etc.
