Clients renting the apartment are given the opportunity to become temporary members of Luz Ocean Club which offers 3 swimming pools and fantastic tennis facilities as well as babysitting services.
As a location it is enjoyable all the year round offering those who may seek out -of -season breaks as a more restful experience.
For those who enjoy golf there are several well-known golf courses within easy reach including the award-winning Penina course near Alvor and the nearest, Boavista golf course.

Praia da Luz / The Ocean Club area
The village of Praia da Luz, is approximately 6km from Lagos, and sits in its own bay amongst a wealth of beautiful colour. The narrow winding streets and houses covered in bougainvillea and hibiscus jostle the terracotta tiled cottages and low-rise apartments which accompany the old fishing village as it merges in with its lovely stretch of safe golden beach. The bay itself is beautiful with the famous Black Rock (Rocha Negra) dramatically jutting out into the blue sea waters.
There are several local restaurants and beach-side bars where one can sit and watch the world go by.
Local dishes incorporate fresh produce, and fish in particular is cooked in very appetising ways like Caldeirada (fish stew), Cataplana (pork and clams cooked in Algarvian style). For information on Luz Ocean Club please see their website.
How to get there
Praia da Luz is approximately 50 minutes by car from Faro airport. Most budget airlines operate regular flights to Faro at all times during the year and all main car rental firms have desks or offices at the airport.
The current cost of a taxi from the airport to Luz is 90 euros. There is a train from Faro to Lagos which takes approximately 2 hours and runs regularly throughout the day.

A deposit of 30% is payable in order to secure the reservation. The balance of the rental is payable one month before the stay.
Preferred payment is by cheque. Maid service, bed linen and towles included. Only extra is club membership if desired.
This membership fee does vary according to the season so on request this can be determined. It is not excessive and is at the current time approximately £30 per adult for one week.
