The Praia da Luz / Estrela da Luz area
Situated in heart of the charming village of Luz with its picturesque promenade, ancient Roman remains, restaurants and bars. Local supermarkets, banks, cinema, post office, shops etc within short walking distance. Historic town of Lagos 6km away. There are many old buildings, churches and a farmer's market. Other nearby attractions (many with discounts from reception) include water parks, Lagos zoo, boat trips to grottoes and dolphin watching, deep sea fishing from Lagos marina. Scuba diving, horse riding, kayaking tours. Parachute jumping and microlight aircraft trips from local aerodrome. Surfing Monchique mountains with natural spas.

Massive apartment , good wheelchair access in and around complex. The only problem would be the bathroom for some as quite small and wheelchair not able to get right in. However the rest of the apartment was fully accessible. Easy near by parking. The most amazing huge balcony with sun all day. No step anywhere. |
