About the home

Luxury 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom villa with beautiful gardens and private pool. The villa, sea view terrace and pool are private and are not over looked. We have just overseen the complete refurbishment and furnishing of the villa to a very high standard and ensure that it is extremely well equipped. The property is suitable for families with children and extra facilities are available for babies and young children. The main living accommodation is located on the first floor along with a large terrace really making the most of the stunning location and glorious sea views. There are 4 spacious double bedrooms, 2 of which are made into twins but can be amended if neccesary. There is a further single bedroom with a single bed and cot. The 4 main bedrooms have newly fitted designer en suite bath or shower rooms. The kitchen has been particularly well equipped and has all the accessories you could require as well as brand new high quality appliances. The beach is only a 10 minute walk away along with a large selection of restaurants. There are a number of popular golf courses just a short drive away.

The two double bedrooms, both with en suites can be found on the first floor, as can the single bedroom / nursery. On the ground floor there are two further bedrooms with their own en suite shower rooms, these are set up as twins but can be arranged to make double bedrooms if required. The two ground floor rooms are supplied with air conditioning and have their own secure access to the garden and pool area. All furnishings and equipment in our villa are brand new and of high quality.

The property has a large secure garden with private pool and double garage. The property is accessed via electric gates at the end of the drive. There is a huge terrace with wonderful sea views with both sunny and shady areas. There is a lovely external dining area for 8 and large gas barbecue with gas supplied. There are 8 comfortable sun loungers. You can choose to bask in the sun on the terrace around the pool or take in the glorious sea views in the shade on the terrace.

Bath towels and linen included in the price. Egyptian cotton towels and anti-allergy pillows throughout. Weekly clean and linen change included. Further cleaning available on request. Pool and gardens maintained to a high standard.

Conditions

The property is not suitable for wheelchair users as the living area is located up a flight of stairs.

The Algarve / West Algarve region

The Algarve is the most popular holiday destination within Portugal. It has a wonderful climate, with pretty much year round sunshine although winter temperatures are lower (normally around 17 - 20 degrees centigrade). The area has many beautiful beaches, towns and places of historical interest. The beautiful mountains of Monchique are also well worth a visit. The vibrant city of Lisbon is around two and a half hours drive away. The food is great, as are the people. There is alot to do with many international standard golf courses, fishing, dolphin safaris, water sports, horse riding, hiking, water parks, a zoo etc etc etc

The Praia da Luz / Monte Lemos area

Luz has a selection of shops and restaurants, a 24 hour medical centre (English speaking), pharmacy, bank, dentists, and a post office. The town of Lagos hosts a larger selection of supermarkets, bars and restaurants. There is a large shopping centre at Guia about 25 minutes drive away. The glorious mountains of Monchique, the castle at Sagres and many other places of natural and historical interest are a short drive away. For the active there are a variety of sports on offer such as golf, horse riding, diving and other water sports. There are daily boat excursions and dolphin watching run from nearby Lagos marina. For the kids, a number of water parks and the "Fiesa" which is a selection of incredible man made sand structures with a different theme running each year are also only a short drive away.
The new Algave Motor Park which is host to a number of high profile events such as Le Mans series and World Superbikes, and hoping to be a part of the Formula 1 scene in the future, is an easy 20 minute drive away. Various Drive experiences are also available and a World Class Karting track and other facilities are due to be opened in the very near future.

The nearest airport is at Faro approximately 50 minutes drive away. The villa is accessible from Lisbon airport but with a comparative 3 hour journey; Faro would be our recommendation. Car hire is not essential but would be recommended to experience the best that the area has to offer. We have recommendations on car hire firms, if required. At some times of the year we may be able to provide an airport transfer from Faro for an additional cost. Please ask for more details.
