This beautiful spacious villa is located in a quiet road a few minutes walk from the sandy blue flag beach. The upstairs living area opens onto a large sun terrace with lovely views of the sea and the black rock. The sunny terrace below has large table and chairs for al fresco dining and the swimming pool has a childproof fence, making it safer for smaller children. The villa is ideal for families with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, close to the beach and with restaurants, bars and shops all within walking distance.
There is a regular bus service to Lagos, 3 miles away, which has historic buildings, yacht marina, dolphin safaris and extra choices for shopping and dining. Watersports and tennis are minutes away. Golf at Boa Vista is 3 km. There is a good local riding school, and a zoo and 3 waterparks in the area.
There is lots to see and do in the surrounding area during your holiday!

The friendly and welcoming village of Luz makes a wonderful base for a family sun holiday!
The near perfect Western Algarve climate has gentle sea breezes to temper the summer heat and mild sunny winters. The beautiful coastline of the Natural Parque is dotted with sandy beaches, rugged cliffs and small fishing villages connected by amazing coastal paths and drives. The 20 minute drive to Europe's most westerly point, Cape St. Vincent, is a must with breathtaking, towering cliffs stretching northwards and the Monchique Mountains inland afford fabulous views of the S.W. coastline and a taste of traditional life as it has been lived for centuries.
The Praia da Luz / Luz Bay area
There are so many alternatives to tempt you away from the miles and miles of unspoilt sandy beaches, watersports and small bars and restaurants! Horse riding and tennis are available locally as are jeep safaris, dolphin safaris, sea angling and boat trips to see the beautiful sea caves or grottoes and children love to visit Lagos Zoo and 3 waterparks, a short drive away.
There are several quality Golf Courses nearby. Boa Vista Golf is less than 5 mins. drive, with a 10 mins. drive to renowned Parque da Floresta Golf (which also offers tennis, bowls, archery and a spa). All courses welcome visitors and provide lessons.
You can be pampered at the Estrela Spa in Luz, where there is also a heated swimming pool and gym.
The local vegetable and fish markets are colourful and great value and provide great photo opportunities too!

On arrival at the villa we were thrilled with the first impression nice big villa great pool but dont know if we were the first to stay there because we were early in the year but the whole villa had a terrible damp musty smell, now after a few days with all windows and doors open the smell went away but would benefit from a good airing before guests arrive in the future. Had no other complaints villa was lovely and clean 2 mins walk to great beach beautiful resort. Also nice and safe pool with fence round to keep out little ones lovely outdoor space would recommend. Response: Thank you for your review. Apologies the villa had been closed all winter and you were the first guests of the season. The villa manager is taking steps to ensure this doesn't happen again. Yes the villa is great for a family holiday being near shops, restaurants and beach. |
