Cypress, olive and palm trees are bordered by fragrant clusters of lavender and the main central village area has stunning gardens with natural stone finished walls. Luz is a quaint village with a fabulous white sandy beach; there is a RYA sailing school on the beach (seasonal)and abundance of restaurants. Lagos zoo is nearby. The nearby town of Lago with its pretty marina offers many opportunities for boating, sailing, snorkelling etc

“Excellent - Can't wait to go back” Stayed in this fabulous apartment in August, party of six 2 adults, 3 teenagers and a child. Lovely welcome pack on arrival, especially good as we arrived very late. The apartment was a real home from home, very well equipped, spacious and spotlessly clean. It was cleaned three times in the 8 days we stayed there. There was a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher. The complex itself is lovely, very well maintained, pool area was really good and the restaurant food was excellent. Praia da Luz itself is beautiful with fabulous beaches, lots of water sports and nice restaurants. Would highly recommend this apartment and destination.

“Great apartment in a lovely setting” Stayed in this apartment in Baia Da Luz in July 2012. the apartment was spotless on arrival and the welcome pack that had been arranged meant that we did not have to rush out to the shops. We had 2 adults and 3 kids and fitted in with room to spare. Apartment was cleaned half way through our 2 weeks. Reception was very helpful when needed. The complex is perfect for families, with a great kiddies pool, an intermediate pool for kids and adults to play in and a more sedate adults only pool for those who wanted peace and quiet. Playground and tennis courts too. Lots of families like ours so you did not feel like your kids were too noisy and lots of likeminded people to talk to. It was our first visit, but we met lots of people who go every year which has to be a good sign!! The poolside bar and restaurant are very good. Praia Da Luz is easy to get around and very laid back. Lagos is well worth a visit too. Highly recommended

“A really special holiday let” A lovely apartment with everything you could possibly want, with a feeling that real care had been taken to make you feel at home, including a really nice welcome pack. A great balcony, just perfect for that nice relaxing breakfast, or sitting in the evening looking out on to the luscious green landscape listening to the birds. Fully equipped kitchen so you can choose to eat in or eat out. Great heated swimming pool, and lovely Italian on site with extremely friendly staff - well worth a visit.

“Can't wait to go again!” We stayed at this lovely, quiet, comfortable, 2 bedroom apartment last September and we're planning to go back soon. It's beautifully furnished, spacious and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. We loved having breakfast on the large, sunny balcony. It's just across from a leisure area where we ate at a nice, reasonably priced restaurant, (which also does takeaways), and had snacks and drinks brought to us at the poolside. There are 2 pools, one just for adults - a real bonus for us - and a separate one for adults and children. It's only a 5 minutes stroll to a lovely sandy beach and a promenade where there are restaurants and cafes. We found several very good and reasonably priced restaurants a short walk away offering 'menus of the day', and there are also supermarkets nearby. The housekeeping service is very efficient and the staff at the central office were very helpful. We would recommend a holiday here to anyone of any age and can't wait to go again!
