About the home

A very attractive 3 bedroom villa with a private pool near the beach in the beautiful and popular resort of Praia da Luz. 2 years old all this and just a 5 minute walk to the beach.

The property itself is the perfect getaway and has facilities to sleep up to 6 people comfortably. As well as this there is a great pool to relax in should you decide that the 5 minute walk to the beach is just a little too much!

In short if you are looking for a great holiday rental in this great part of the world then look no further.

The Algarve is the southernmost region of Portugal and it's one of Europe's favourite holiday destinations well known for glorious year round sunshine and excellent sandy beaches. Golf course on your doorstep.

The Praia da Luz area

Three plus superb golf coures within easy distance. Water sports on the beach. Hospitable child friendly resort. Arduous or easy clifftop walks. Overlooked by the highest point on the Algarve cliffs.

Lagos is easily the prettiest town on the Algarve with it walled centre and brand new marina is a 2miles away. Cab fare is approx £5.00.

From Faro Airport follow signs towards Portimao (A22) and then to Lagos. Turn off at Lagos (avoid turn for Lagos Estates). Come off motorway and turn right for Vale de Bispo. Look for next Luz turn on the left.

Praia da Luz is 45 minutes drive from Faro airport with 2 lane motorways all the way to Luz, which is easy to find. Unlike the UK the motorways are never crowded and it is a pleasure to drive. Car hire is cheap and can be arranged this end. You can collect your car at the airport and drop it of in the adjacent car park at departure

Many other interesting towns within easy reach. Lagos, Sagres, Cape St Vincent, Portimao, Silves, Monchique, Aljezur even Albufeira are all worth a visit.

There are stunning beaches all along the Western Algarve. The long sandy beach at Praia da Luz itself is only 5 minutes walk and has every facility from bars, cafes, shops, restaurants, water sports, etc. Many totally unspoiled beaches are to be found along the western coast. Ideal for surfing and watersports.

“OBRIGADO!” This is a fabulous casa. Simply but well furnished and extremely spacious, it is adaptable to the needs of probably all types of visitors. The living area is on the upper level with so much room, it's amazing! The well-appointed kitchen has a balcony facing to the back which is perfect for drying the washing - washed in the machine in the kitchen and hung on the enormous dryer kept in the large toilet opposite the kitchen!! The living area itself has loads of seating area to watch the telly or listen to music plus there is also a good sized dining area around a table seating 6. The large terrace accessed through the enormous triple windows is wonderful for alfresco eating Sunday roasts and the like. Garden level has the 3 bedrooms - shared bathroom for the 2 twin rooms and huge en-suite to compliment the huge master. The pool and b.b.q. area is accessed through the bedroom doors of the master on also one of the twins or alternatively out the front door and through the pool-side gate. There is a rear mini orchard out the back where depending on season you can pick your own lemons, limes or oranges and make your screamingly yummy citrus pudding as I did (though I bought my own fruits at Baptista supermarket not thinking at the time!)! The barbie is a new addition (having been to this casa last year also) and it is absolutely excellent. The photos here show a whirlie-gig in this area - this is no longer in use and the back terrace outside the kitchen window is more than adequate for drying all your washing. The driveway is large enough for a stream of limos and my son tells me the golf is brilliant. This is a great place to stay and I wouldn't hesitate for a minute if I were you! p.s. wi-fi is available at the Luz Estrella complex opposite the villa.

“A great place for families and friends” Have now stayed at this beautiful villa 3 times with my family. Our 12 year old twins just loved the space and having their own private pool. It is ideally situated for the shops and best restaurants in Luz and is only a 5 minute walk to the beach where we used to go crabbing every morning.

You should let people know how convenient it is and everywhere you need to go you can do so on foot so no need for a car. We were very happy with the facilities and the area is beautiful and very safe even after all that has happened there.
