Vila Baia is a newly built, five star, luxury, two bedroom apartment situated in Praia da Luz. There is a wonderful family friendly sandy beach nearby as are restaurants and shops. The resort itself has an adult swimming pool as well as a children’s pool and play area, there is also a pool bar and restaurant plus two tennis courts. The town centre, a short walk along the seaside promenade, has a selection of fine bars and restaurants to suit all tastes.

The Algarve / West Algarve region
The Algarve has a rugged coastline and is a beautiful holiday destination any time of year. Beach lovers can top up their tan on the golden sands, or if they're feeling a bit more energetic have a go at one of the many waters sports on offer locally - water skiing, windsurfing, surfing, diving....
Away from the coast take the time to visit or walk the Algarve's stunning mountainous natural parks. There are some beautiful old towns here such as Silves with picturesque cobbled streets, a fort and an impressive cathedral.
Praia da Luz area
Situated six km West of the historical town of Lagos on Portugal’s sunny Algarve, Praia da Luz has a wonderful sandy beach served by a variety of seafront bars and restaurants. The beach is joined to the town centre along a seaside cobbled promenade with ancient Roman bath ruins. The town centre is based around the church with bars and restaurants of a high caliber for evening dining.
How to get there
I. Faro Airport is 45mls (72k) from Praia da luz, 95% motorway, about one hours drive time.
ii. There are trains from Faro to Lagos and it's about a ten minute taxi drive from Lagos to Vila Baia.
iii. There are buses from Faro to Lagos and from Lagos to Praia da Luz but a taxi for the Lagos to Praia da Luz is probably more convenient and not very expensive (about €10)
iv. A taxi from the airport would cost in the region of €90, can vary slightly depending on time and day.

Further details indoors: Well equipped kitchen with breakfast counter connecting it to the lounge/dining area. The well designed apartment lounge has a two seater settee and two arm chairs looking out on the large sun terrace and manicured gardens. The open plan living area comfortably accommodates a six seater dining table and chairs. Both the lounge and kitchen have doors leading onto the sun terrace which runs the width of the property.
Further details
20% non returnable deposit required to secure booking, balance and €250 security deposit to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival. The security deposit will be returned by euro cheque or bank transfer one week after the rental, less any deductions for damage and breakages.
Quoted rates are inclusive of all services, cutlery, towels (not beach) and bed linen. Special rates for rentals over two weeks in low season. Electricity will be metered and charged in low season, 1st Nov. to 28th Feb, does not apply to Christmas/New Year higher rental period.
