This really special villa has stunning panoramic sea views!

As soon as you arrive passing through the fragrant bouganvillea-covered archway into the delightful front garden with pretty scented plants and lemon tree, you know you will feel at home here. But when you open the front door and see the stunning sea view ahead of you it takes your breath away! These splendid sea views and the amenities of the villa draw so many guests back to the villa time and time again.

Beyond the hallway, the bright attractive lounge and dining area both open onto a large veranda overlooking the pool and rear garden has table and chairs from where you can relax with a drink or dine al fresco and enjoy the mesmerising sea views!

The lounge has comfortable cream leather seating, a writing desk and well-stocked book case. There is a large flat screen satellite TV with English language channels, and a DVD player with some DVDs that guests are welcome to use. There is a Sony music system for CD, radio and a USB port and there is unlimited free Wi Fi.

The dining area, which also opens onto the veranda, has an extendable table with seating for 8 and sideboard and there is a handy serving hatch through to the kitchen.

Off the hallway, the kitchen is well laid out and well-equipped with everything you will need and you can enjoy the sea views both through the dining room's serving hatch and from the kitchen's side window while preparing food, an added pleasure! There is a small breakfast table in the kitchen and there are sliding doors to the kitchen patio and BBQ area for afternoon and evening sun.

Also off the hallway is a guest toilet, and stairs down to the two bedrooms and pool area.

At the lower level there is a delightful double bedroom with 5 ft. bed en-suite bath with shower and bidet and the twin bedroom is located beside the shower room. and one twin bedroom and both bedrooms open onto the rear patio and pool area.

Watersports, tennis, horse riding, golf are available and there are fabulous cliff & coastal walks. There is so much to do in the area - but if you wish you can just do nothing at all and 'chill out' by the pool!

This villa is ideal for families, golfers, or as a romantic treat for two!

The Algarve region

The Algarve is a wonderful all-year-round holiday destination with long hot summers, mild winters and low rainfall, and because there is an average of 3000 hours of sunshine each year!

The coastline of the Western Algarve is breathtakingly beautiful, with miles and miles of gigantic craggy cliffs, often sheltering beautiful sandy coves with little else but a very welcome beach bar and restaurant serving terrific food. You will also find longer stretches of beach with dramatic rocky outcrops, and towards the west and nearer to Cape St. Vincent there are many beaches that are very popular for surfing. With some smaller fishing villages clinging to the clifftops, sometimes with precarious looking little harbours, you are always assured of the chance to savour the freshest of seafood and wonderful local wines and a friendly smile.

In contrast to the stunning coastline west, you can turn inland towards the Monchique Mountains for amazing views of the whole S.W. coastline. The mountain slopes are clothed with forests of oak, cork, eucapyptus, pine and chestnut and the pretty market town of Monchique is a centre for local crafts and the home of the famous Portuguese spiced dish of chicken piri piri. Caldas de Monchique near the town is noted since pre-Roman times for its healing spring water.

Not far inland from Lagos and Portimao, the town of Silves is built around a huge intact castle/fort located on a hill with extensive views in every direction. Much archaeological work has been carried out here and you can visit the large castle and walk on the old battlement wall from where there are wonderful vistas of the town below and the whole area.

With countless superb beaches, breathtaking scenery, friendly people, fabulous food at reasonable prices and an envious year round climate - it's not surprising that people return to the Algarve again and again.

Praia da Luz

Luz is a large village with everything you need within walking distance. There is a lovely paved promenade which winds down to the beach area where water sports are available, and there are restaurants & cafes and a selection of colourful clothes & jewellery stalls.

The attractive market town of Lagos,3 miles to the east, has a charming pedestrianised shopping area mostly within its14th Century walls, and lots of restaurants and bars with seating outside. A lovely palm-fringed esplanade by the waterfront is connected by a foot-bridge to the marina at the other side, from where you can take a boat trip to see the grottoes and dolphins.

Lagos Zoo is nearby, and Omega Park near Monchique specialises in different species of monkey. There are several waterparks about 30 minutes drive away at Alcantarilha and Lagoa areas and Zoo marine, near Guia, is an excellent ocean theme park.

The mild winters and year round sunshine make the area perfect for golfers. There are more than 20 top Golf Courses within an hour's drive. Boavista Golf Resort and Espiche Golf are just 15 minutes away while Parque da Floresta Golf Resort is 20 minutes drive. All courses welcome visitors with normal golfing etiquette observed.

Many other sporting activities are available in the area, from the full range of watersports, to tennis, horse riding, football, cycling and quad biking, micro light flying and even hot air ballooning!
