This is our home in Portugal and has been outfitted to a high standard with quality furnishings and equipment. It is located just a short 3-minute walk to Luz Beach. The veranda overlooking the sea is accessed from the living area as well as the master bedroom and has table and chairs for al fresco dining. There is also a small veranda just outside the sliding doors of one of the other two bedrooms. The apartment is within walking distance to many fine restaurants, as well as two well stocked grocery stores, a video store, pharmacy, bakery, bank, internet shop. The Luz Bay Club with three pools is available for a daily or weekly fee.
Outside of Luz, there are numerous golf courses within 10-30 minutes by car; waterparks; zoo; horseback riding; deep sea fishing; shopping, museums, historic sites.

Further details indoors: The kitchen is fully fitted and has granite countertops, a gas cooktop, built-in oven and microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer. There is a full size washer and full size clothes dryer located in a closet in one of the bathrooms.
There are three bedrooms, one with en suite bath. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and doors leading to veranda overlooking the sea. Two full bathrooms, one with bathtub and fitted shower, sink with vanity, wc, and electric heater; and the other bath with fitted shower stall for easy access, sink with vanity, wc, electric heater, and heated towel racks.
Sitting room with sofa and armchairs and log burning fireplace, satellite TV with English channels, DVD player; stereo system with CD player, radio and cassette player. Numerous DVD movies as well as music CDs available. Books and games for both adults and children.
The sitting room has recently been fitted with a built-in air conditioner/heater. All other rooms have electric heaters if needed. A phone is available for incoming calls and for making local calls. The apartment is equipped with high-speed wireless internet.
Further details outdoors: The apartment is in the Waterside Village complex in Praia da Luz. Our apartment is in a building of eight units with four units on each floor. We have an end unit on the ground floor. You can park your car very close to the main entryway. From the veranda, you have unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean and the beautiful, colorful rock formations [Rocha Negra or Black Rock] at the end of the Luz beach.
