A spacious 2 bedroom apartment that overlooks the beautiful beach and famous Black rock at Praia da Luz. It is suitable for all ages, including families with small children. The lounge and main bedroom both open onto the south facing balcony which is ideal for soaking up the atmosphere and sunbathing, and eating alfresco. The apartment is situated in a quite part of Praia da Luz, great for relaxing and letting the world pass you by. However all your holiday needs are within walking distance.

The Algarve / West Algarve region
The apartment is ideal for a holiday at any time of the year. The weather in the Algarve is good all year round with minimal rainfall. The temperature during the year is about 15 C in the winter and 28C in the summer months. Gentle sea breezes ease the hot summer temperatures during the day and also ensure a good night sleep. Spring time is especially beautiful and a great time to visit the Algarve to enjoy the flowers and birds. The apartment is in a great location for those who love to play golf. There are some fabulous courses with spectacular views.
Praia da Luz area
Praia da Luz is a lovely family resort with a wonderful sandy beach which is just 2 minutes walk from the apartment. There are many different types of restaurants, again all within walking distance from the apartment. There are also a number of supermarkets for those that wish to cater for themselves. The supermarket will deliver your shopping for you.
Praia da Luz makes an ideal centre for your holiday. You can sit and relax on the beach which boasts its own Blue flag as well as full time professional life guards on duty at all times. There are two centres on the beach that provide many different water activities including paragliding, windsurfing, fun-rides and water-skiing. If surfing is your thing there are a number of groups who operate daily out to the various breaks along the beautiful West coast. The surf along the west coast is spectacular; the beaches are also beautiful, quite different to the local coastline and well worth a visit.
For those that enjoy golf, there are four well-known golf courses: Boavista, Palmares, Penina and Parque da Floresta within easy driving distance, the nearest being Bovista which is about 5 minutes drive away.
If you enjoy walking, you can take the coastal walk to Lagos, which is considered to be the best town in the region. There are a number of cafes along this route where you can stop for a breather and refreshment. Alternatively you can walk in the opposite direction from Luz, to the sleepy fishing town of Burgau, which has a great beach bar where you can while away your day.
If you have a car, although this is not essential, it does give you the opportunity to explore the region. Go up to the Monchique mountains to experience the fabulous views. Take yourself off to the end of the world at Cape St Vincent and watch the sun go down. This is a fabulous experience. Very romantic!

Further details indoors: We will consider 5/6 people in the apartment, however this would mean 2 people would have to sleep on the double sofa bed which is in the lounge. There is a barbeque which all our guests are welcome to use to enjoy the evenings on the balocony. The apartment has shutters to keep it cool in the summer and a real log fire for those winter months.
Further details outdoors: Although there is no allocated parking space you can park the car outside the apartment.

All residents can use the pool facilities of the Luz Bay Club Hotel which is within walking distance of the apartment. Just pay at reception for the day.
Conditions
A non refundable deposit of 10% must be paid to confirm the booking. The balance must be paid 8 weeks prior to the holiday. Any bookings made with less than 8 weeks before the holiday must be paid in full. A security payment of £100.00 (refundable) is required against any damages or breakages. Details in respect of payment are provided once a booking has been confirmed. A local management agency is available to meet and greet you and to help you with any queries you may have during your stay. A Welcome Pack (tea, coffee, milk, bread etc) can be ordered for a small charge when making a booking.
