* Casa Solinho is situated in a residential area on the outskirts of the pretty resort of Praia da Luz, only a few kilometres from the small fishing village of Burgau, with it's "blue flag" beach. Just a short drive takes you to the historic, walled town of Lagos, with modern marina, promenade and numerous restaurants and shops. * The villa has a large, airy living/dining room with patio doors onto the sunbathing/pool area with barbeque, plenty of sunloungers, table and chairs for relaxing and dining outdoors. * Numerous golf courses, the nearest being Boavista and Parque da Floresta, make this an ideal location for golfers.

The Algarve region
The Algarve has long been a popular holiday destination, with it's sunny climate, fabulous beaches and dramatic coastline! The Western Algarve has all this and more, being generally quieter and more laid back than the larger resorts closer to Faro - ideal for a more relaxing holiday, lazing in the sun, enjoying the many coastal walks or making the most of those beautiful beaches! The Algarve people are naturally friendly and welcoming, and eating out is always a pleasure with such a wide variety of excellent restaurants in the area.
Praia da Luz / Montinhos da Luz area
Praia da Luz has a lovely safe sandy beach, with a pretty promenade and restaurants overlooking the sea, whilst the small fishing village of Burgau has recently been awarded the "blue flag" for it's beach. Lagos has lots to offer the more adventurous, with watersports, boat trips, dolphin discovery tours and fishing trips. It also has a rich maritime history - ships set sail here on voyages of discovery to the New World in the 15th Century. Waterparks are a great way to cool off in the heat of the summer and can easily be reached by car in around 30mins.
