The sitting room is exceptionally large with a 15 foot window leading to balcony area and this maximises the view of the sea & also the view of the cliffs by the sea. There are ample storage facilities within the apartment.The apt is fully air conditioned as well as having electronic shutters to keep bedroom cool.The apt sleeps up to 5 people.It has 1 double bed,2 single & a camp bed.The apt has full internet access

A pleasant drive from Faro International airport (45 mins) on the new motorway, the Western Algarve with it's tranquil beaches and sheltered coves is like no other part of Portugal.
The Praia da Luz / Estrela da Luz area
Luz is a small sleepy traditional Portuguese village that is still unspoilt by development. The beach and pace of life make it ideal for a very relaxing holiday. From the atmospheric Fortaleza overlooking the rugged cliffs, you can stroll along the promenade towards the beautiful beach, and why not enjoy a coffee along the way in one of the many small sea front restaurants.
There is plenty to do if you are looking for more active pursuits with 4 golf courses, horse riding, and a water sports school nearby. A Water Park and Zoo Marine are within 25 min drive from the apartment.
The picturesque town of Lagos is a 5 min drive away - ideal for shopping and local markets. A courtesy bus is also available from reception.

On leaving Faro airport head for the A22 motorway in the direction of Lisboa (Lisbon) and Portimao.In order to get onto A22 motorway you need to take two right exits along the way.Still follow signs for A22 Lisboa/Portimao .Please note at end of exits you need to stop & yield to oncoming traffic . .When on A22 exits start at 13.Keep driving until you get to exit 1.
Leave the A22 at exit 1.
Straight through the first roundabout ( no choice).
Take the 1st exit ( right) at the second roundabout towards Vila De Bispo.
Take the turn left for Luz after the camping ground which you will see on the right had side. Please note this is actually the second sign for Luz.
As you enter Luz the road goes downhill towards the sea Estrela de Luz is on your right near the small national school. Its distinctive design and colour make it easy to see.

This apartment was very spacious and well maintained and located in a child friendly complex.The complex had excellent facilities with indoor and outdoor pools plus jacuzzi, gym and tennis courts.The location was very central , just 5minute walk from the beach (which had a good choice of watersport activities) 2 minutes to the supermarkets pharmacy and excellent bakery.Praia da Luz has some lovely restaurants and most are within walking distance of the Estrela da Luz complex.For those who like walking there is a spectacular cliff walk between Praia da Luz and the neighbouring village of Burgau. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment and found Praia da Luz very relaxing. |

Lovely big apartment with master bedroom and ensuite on a mezzanine floor !! Val was great to deal with and gave great tips on where to go when in Luz.The apartment was very clean and very light due to the 2 storey window giving great views out to sea .Estrela complex is great for both kids and adults with 3 pools and a good bar/restaurant on site. |

apartments are like a home away from home , very spacious with a lovely balcolny overlooking the sea,fully equipped and very clean. Very easy access to local beach and shops . Hugos bar and restaurant on complex has lovely food with very friendly staff. Indoor pool and sauna for those lazy days or maybe a massage ? Tv and dvd player in apt perfect for those wit small children. Excellant place to stay i would highly recommend it . |
