A holiday in this gorgeous three bedroom apartment has something for everyone! Located in the attractive landscaped grounds of Estrela da Luz 4 Star Resort, everything you need is at hand.
Relax by one of the pools or in the spa and beauty centre while the children are kept busy with tennis, football coaching, or in the Kids Club. With two water sports centres at the blue flag beach down the road, horseriding nearby, terrific coastal walks and a choice of excellent golf courses from a few minutes drive, there is a huge choice of activities available locally.
Luz village,about 3 minutes walk, has cobbled streets and a lovely palm fringed promenade to the beach. There is a variety of excellent restaurants using local produce to serve mouth watering foods and wines in an easy friendly atmosphere. Useful services in the village are banks, post office, pharmacy, optician, dentist, Luz Doc international medical centre as well as supermarkets and small clothes and gift shops.
The port town of Lagos is 5 minutes by car from Luz and a regular bus service connects Luz, Lagos and several local villages and beaches. Lagos has a long seafaring tradition and from where Henry the Navigator launched the voyages of discovery to the new world in the 1400s. Most of the ancient town walls are still intact as is the fort and the slave market. Nowadays Lagos is a bustling centre of activity with lots of attractive buildings, a quayside lined with palm trees and a busy modern marina. It has lots of shops, restaurants, bars and night clubs and a casua familyl friendly atmosphere, and Lagos Zoo and several water parks are nearby.

The Estrela da Luz complex is well designed and efficiently managed and the rooms and bathrooms in the apartment have a luxurious feel in keeping with its 4 star standard.
Accessed by lift or stairs from the underground car park, on entering the apartment a left turn from the hallway reveals a bright, spacious lounge/dining area with very high ceiling and a tall gothic shaped window. On either side of this lovely feature window are patio doors leading to a west and south facing veranda which has table and chairs for alfresco dining while enjoying the sea and surrounding views. There is another small veranda off the kitchen which faces east to catch the morning sun.
The master bedroom has en-suite bath/shower, bidet and twin hand basins. The main bathroom is located between the two twin bedrooms.
Stairs from the lounge lead to a mezzanine which has a comfy couch, desk and also a shower room with w.c.

There are electronic gates and secure underground parking and a lift from the parking area up to the apartment lobby.
There is 24 hour reception.
Prices include bed linen, bathroom & kitchen towels, air conditioning, electricity and maid service. This apartment has full use of the 4* facilities of Estrela da Luz . Gym. Sauna, outdoor and indoor pools etc . There are no extra charges.
Start days and length of stay are flexible. Extra days are charges at 1/7th weekly rate.
Cot and High Chair available on request at no extra charge.

Deposit Euro 400 per week to confirm a booking.
Balance/Security deposit due 8 weeks before your holiday begins.

The Algarve / West Algarve region
The beautiful western Algarve with its dramatic and attractive scenery has miles and miles of fabulous sandy beaches, towering cliffs, secluded coves and colourful fishing villages. This is the quieter, less developed part of the Algarve which includes the extensive Natural Park area of S.W. Alentejano and the most westerly point in Europe, Cape St. Vincent.
In contrast to the wonderful coastal scenery, the mountains to the north have cork, chestnut and eucalyptus forests dotted with small, timeless villages. The Sierra Monchique mountains protect the southern coastal area from north winds helping to create the perfect Algarve climate of mild winters and hot summers, so much loved by so many people!
The Western Algarve has it all: sun, sand and sea. Add in the warmth and friendliness of the local people, their wonderful, simple food and wines and the inspiringly beautiful scenery all around you, and you have the perfect place to chill out, relax and taste the good life!
The Praia da Luz / Estrela da Luz area
Estrella da Luz is a 4 * upmarket development with all the extra luxuries of landscaped gardens, a choice of outdoor and indoor pools, Gym, Sauna, Jacuzzi etc, 24 hour reception, secure parking, on site restaurant and bar etc. and all of this is located within Praia da Luz village with all that it has to offer. Plus 5 minutes walk will get you onto the Blue Flag beach!

Faro Airport is less than 1 hour's easy drive, mostly on quiet motorway.
Many cheap flights are available from U.K. and Ireland to Faro
Arrival Day and Length of Stay at the Villa are flexible to help you to take advantage of airline deals.
Transfers from Faro can be arranged by a reputable company for approx. Euro 80 each way... or we can help with car hire from the airport.
Lisbon Airport is under 3 hours from the villa, mostly on motorway.
