About the home

Great for a family holiday or couples and friends.Quite location, but near lots of Beaches, and fun places to visit.
Lovely 3 bed Villa between Praia da Luz and Burgua, lovely BBQ area and Balcony to the front and Plunge Pool and Patio to the rear of the property. Roomy and Modern, with upstairs Balcony and French doors leading out to the plunge pool and BBQ area.

The Algarve / West Algarve region

The Algarve is well known for its golf courses and also for the many attractive fishing villages - and hence, of course, for the seafood, which is delicious. The Atlantic location means although very hot in June, July and August, the heat is not overpowering. The climate remains warm in Spring and Autumn, and over winter you get warm days, but the nights are noticeably cooler.

The attractive town of Lagos, the third largest on the Algarve, offers narrow cobbled streets, a modern marina, colourful open air and covered markets, lively bars and restaurants serving both local and international cuisine, as well as shops of every description.

The Praia da Luz / Montinhos da Luz area

Loads to do! Near plenty of Golf Course, lovely restaurants and beached.

Lovely area, quiet and peaceful, with lots of beaches and places to visit, which include Lagas town and several waterparks.

Praia da Luz is a lovely family resort with a long sandy beach backed by a lovely tree lined prom, great for an afternoon stroll and a drink at a beach bar....

Recommended Airlines are Easyjet and Ryanair, cheap and cheerful. Well, cheap anyway!
We use www.economycarhire.com which is quite good and probably up there with the best of them.
From Faro airport it is about 1 hour's drive to the villa.

On leaving the airport, proceed along the A22 ( blue motorway sign ) and leave at junction 1, sign posted Vil Da Bispo / Sagras. Go straight across the first roundabout and then take a right at the second roundabout, sign posted Vil Da Bispo / Sagras. Go straight along this road, past Boavista Golf Course on your left, past the first sign post for Praia da Luz, past a Camp site on your right, then take a left at the filter traffic lights at the secound sign post for Praia da Luz.

Carry on straight and then take a right when you come to the roundabout, carry on along this road, which has fantastic views on your left over Praia da Luz! for about 1 mile, then take a left just past the bus stop signposted Nesi School, just as a footnote, on the opposite side of the road is a sign for 'Villa Da Mars'.
Go straight for about 300 yards until you come to the end of the road. Turn left then immediate right, now you are on the road which the villa is on. Follow the road round and there is four villas on the left, ours is the last one.
