Located in the exclusive 4* Estrela da Luz, this luxury 1 bed, ground floor apartment is spacious and airy. It is furnished to a high standard and provides all the mod con's . The resort is secure with coded security gates and a 24 hour manned reception. Offering two outdoors pools, a children's pool and a heated indoor pool. It also provides a health club with jacuzzi, sauna and spa as well as a fully equipped gym. There is a restaurant on site and a bar that shows all major sporting events. Praia da Luz beach is within 300 metres of the resort and offers water sports as well as bars. At the nearby town of Lagos you can enjoy the towns marina, restaurants and fantastic shopping. Also with 20 minutes of the complex are 4 superb golf courses.
The Algarve / West Algarve region
Praia da Luz is situated approx 50 mins drive from Faro Airport. It is a charming, pretty village of winding streets, old cottages and a selection of restaurants, shops and bars.
It is a relaxing family resort with a lovely beach which provides watersports including sailing, wind-surfing and Dolphin watching. The beach itself is soft and sandy and is set against the backdrop of granite cliffs .There is a main supermarket nearby for your everyday needs .The old town of Lagos is around a 10-minute drive away. A courtesy bus runs from Estrela da Luz to Lagos regularly.

There is a wide array of activities that can be enjoyed during your stay, including ZooMarine at Guia, Lagos Zoo, Slide and Splash. Many activities can be enjoyed from the beach in Luz including sailing, wind-surfing and Dolphin excursions. For golfing enthusiasts, there are many golf courses within a 15 - 30 minute drive. Fly to Faro Airport -Estrela da Luz is 80 km ( aprox 50m mins drive) from the airport. Car Hire available at Faro airport. Alternatively taxis are plentiful charging approx 80 - 90 euros for 4 people, or mini bus charges approx 75 euros for 4 people.

This is a beautiful 1 bedroom apartment, there was a huge double bedroom with a cot in it (not a travel cot) with a balcony overlooking Praia da Luz, the kitchen was very well equipped and also had a door out to the balcony. The sitting room was also huge, even big enough for a big dining table, 2 single beds and 2 comfortable couch's. The apartment is in a nice quiet area of the complex but only a few steps from the pool. Would highly recommend. |
