About the home

This delightful villa is situated in very private grounds of 1900m2, on the outskirts of Praia Da Luz yet close to all the village's many amenities. Casa das Corujas comprises 3 bedrooms all with en suite facilites. The very well equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, gas hob and electric oven. There is also a large laundry, utility room and WC and drinks fridge. The luxurious sitting room has Satelite TV and an open fire. There is a separate dining room with table and chairs for 10 guests.

Each of the exceptionally well appointed three bedrooms has a 6 foot bed which can be separated into twin beds if required and each bedroom has en-suite facilities. The upstairs bedroom has a private terrace and views of the sea and mountains. The two downstairs bedrooms have patio doors to their own garden terrace overlooking the pool and garden.

The landscape garden has an abundance of shrubs and plants and a large sun terrace surrounding the pool. There is an al fresco covered and lit dining area for warm evening dining. There is also a first floor sun terrace with spectacular views of the evening sunset over the mountains and views of the sea and Praia da Luz.

The good sized pool has optional heating.

The beach and village of Luz is a 10 minute walk and offers many restaurants, shops and bars. If you are hiring a car there are many other fishing villages, beaches and inland villages within easy reach. The famous West Coast surfing beaches are only 15 to 20 minutes drive and well worth a visit to see a different type of dramatic seascape.

The bedrooms each have a superking size bed, which easily convert into single beds. The villa has a very well equipped kitchen with a separate utility room with a washing machine and WC. Both the inside and terrace dining tables comfortably seat eight.

Praia Da Luz has everything you need for a wonderful holiday. There are numerous cafes, bars, restaurants and shops to suit all tastes and pockets all within an easy walking distance of Casa das Corujas. Water sports are available from the beautiful safe golden sandy beach or you can just sit and watch the world go by from the bustling esplanade. The historic town of Lagos with its new yacht marina, restaurants, bars, shops and supermarkets is just a few minutes away. There are 4 Golf courses within a 20 minute drive,the nearest one Boavista being just 5 minutes away the unspoilt and rugged surfing beaches of the west Atlantic coast are also a mere 20 minutes drive.
