The Costa de Prata/Silver Coast/Central Portugal region

Portugals Western region is a land of green valleys set between the Montejunto mountains and the Atlantic ocean. The region is blessed with a mild year round climate typical of southern Europe creating ideal conditions for all sorts of outdoor activities.

The medieval town of Obidos is the regions most beautiful and famous attraction built within fortified walls.
Praia Del Rey Golf and Country Club nestles within a lush estate in pinewoods and undulating sand dunes, flanked on one side by a glorious 2 mile long sandy beach washed by the breathtaking Atlantic rollers. Just a five minute drive away, along a quiet costal route is the famous Obidos Lagoon, one of the great natural wonders of Portugal and the perfect leisure destination for those who want to relax in communion with nature or indulge in water sports.
This part of the Atlantic coast is also world famous for its surfing. Baleal is only a few minutes drive away with excellent accessibility, with beach cafes and restaurants

“Ticks all the boxes” Spacious, comfortable and well equipped apartment that provides convenient access to amenities, places of interest, beach, golf and tennis.There is a varied selection of restaurants locally offering good quality food and service at reasonable prices. The one hour drive from Lisbon is straightforward and brings the visitor to the 'real' Portugal.The golf course is interesting and challenging with great coastal views but not too punishing! We look forward to a future return visit. Response: Thank you for your review. Both Ann and myself are delighted you had a good holiday.

“Exceeded expectations” Apartment is spacious and well appointed. Immediate locality is quiet but plenty to do. Good beaches; places of interest to visit. Excelllent golf courses, especially the local Praia D'el Rey. Car needed for access to most facilities but easy driving once north of Lisbon. Response: Thank you for your comments which are much appreciated by Ann and my self. We are delighted you enjoyed yourselves at our apartment.
