The master bedroom and en-suite is situated at the opposite end of the apartment away from the other 2 bedrooms and bathroom - perfect for extra privacy. Large lounge and dining area. Fully fitted kitchen, recently refurbished. Large TV, DVD and stereo system. Only 100 yards from the golf clubhouse and bar/restaurant and a 2 minute walk to the new 5 star Marriott hotel complex.
There is secure on-road parking only 20 yards from the apartment and there is a parking space in the nearby underground car park.

The Costa de Prata/Silver Coast/Central Portugal region
This western region of Portugal (Oeste) is the “real” Portugal situated in the fertile green valleys between the Atlantic Ocean and the rocky massif of the Montejunto mountains.
Within just a short drive one can discover the varied history of the region – visit the museum in Lourinhã where there is the largest collection of dinosaur fossils and dinosaur eggs in Portugal; or for something slightly more recent visit the Ceramic Museum in Caldas Da Rainha which features collections from the 16th Century.
Of great historical importance are the battlefields of Roliça and Torres Vedras where Wellesley (later the Duke of Wellington) defeated Napolean’s invading troops during the Peninsula Wars – so much to see!
The agreeable climate is ideal for all year around outdoor activites – mild in the winter and pleasantly hot in the summer but without the searing heat of the Algarve and southern Spain.
The Praia D'el Rey Golf and Country Club area
Just 50 minutes north of Lisbon is the magnificient medieval walled town of Óbidos which lies at the end of the 6 Km long Óbidos lagoon. Walk along the castle walls with their breathtaking views or wander along the cobbled streets with their quaint shops selling locally produced artefacts, and wine from the region.
Enter Praia D’el Rey (which translates as “the Beach of the King) through the pinewood and eucalyptus forests and you will discover the reason why the golf course has variously been voted as the best in Portugal and recently No. 80 in the world!
There is also a championship standard tennis complex within the resort and just a two minute walk from the apartment.
Within a few minutes drive of the apartment are a selection of local bars, cafés and restaurants in the nearby villages.
Set within a delightful resort development, which boasts miles of uncrowded sandy beaches, it is the perfect holiday destination – fit for a King!

Praia D’el Rey is just 50 minutes drive north of Lisbon along the A8 motorway. Very easy to get to and we will provide simple instructions.

Beautiful apartment - my wife now wants to buy one! Great golf course - I must practice more to enjoy it to the full!
Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic! 6 blokes here for a week and not one of us wanted to go home - see you again later in the year.
This is the nicest apartment we have ever stayed in - especially like the kids being in the east wing and us in the west wing!
