The house which has the sun all day is situated in a quiet, south-west facing location with views of 9th Fairway and shares 3 large heated swimming pools within 50 - 200m. The Golf Club House, Practice Area and 1st Tee are all within 2 minutes walk. There are also tennis courts with a teaching academy and a 5* Marriott Hotel with health spa nearby within the resort. You have the choice of miles of spectacular beach or Obidos lagoon for watersports and swimming in the sea. Enjoy your drinks on the terrace with the sound of the sea.

Praia D'el Rey offers both an opportunity to relax completely in beautiful surroundings and to participate in a wide variety of activities if you are feeling more energetic.
Golf - resort's own spectacular course voted No. 1 in Portugal by Golf World plus 10 other very good courses within 30 - 60 minutes drive. Other activities include a Tennis Academy with 7 courts, surfing, watersports at the nearby Obidos lagoon, cycling, horse riding, beautiful walks along the coastline and through the surrounding countryside, wine trails and a variety of festivals throughout the year. Within the resort you will find a 5 Star Marriott Hotel which offers bars, restaurants and a health spa.
As well as the many bars and restaurants in the nearby towns and villages, you will be able to enjoy a casual drink or meal at the golf clubhouse either indoors or on the terrace with panoramic views of the course and coastline.

How to get there

- Fly to Lisbon (1 hour drive) - north on A8 (which is easily accessible from the airport terminal) to Junction 14. Simple directions to Praia D'el Rey are available on request. Most well known car hire companies operate from Lisbon Airport. Alternatively, transfers can be arranged by our property managers.
- Fly to Porto (approx. 2.5 hours drive) - south on A1 to Leiria and on A8 to Junction 15.
