Prague, the capital city of the Czech Republic, formally known as Czechoslovakia, is one of the most scenic cities in the world. Many consider Prague the most beautiful city in Europe. Prague's historical centre covers an area of 8.1 square kilometers and includes more than 2,000 monuments built between the 8th and 20th centuries. Nearly every architectural era, from the Romanesque period, through Gothic, to Baroque and Art Nouveau, is represented in and around Prague. The most ancient monuments show that the territory was inhabited as long ago as the Neolithic age.

One of the star attractions of this beautiful city is the Prague Castle. The Prague Castle is the biggest ancient castle in the world. The castle houses numerous buildings and sits on over seventeen acres of land overlooking the famous Vltava River. The main feature is the St. Vitus cathedral, an interesting 14th century Gothic structure adorned with fascinating gargoyles that can be seen easily from ground level. Inside the cathedral are some very elaborate tombs and a lot of Czech history. It is possible to climb to the top of the bell tower, which takes you to the highest point inside the castle, from which there are fabulous views of the castle and old town Prague. Elsewhere around the castle is the Golden Lane, a series of colorful shops that originally served as housing for the palace guards and the Czech Art Museum.

This gorgeous, 110 Sq. meter (1,185 Sq. feet), 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath, newly reconstructed luxury apartment with modern floor plan features designer furniture, furnishings, accessories, high ceilings and flush mount halogen lighting throughout the entire apartment. An exquisite kitchen with a complete complement of high quality kitchen accessories, granite counter tops and island counter with designer bar stools. A 42 inch plasma TV with Sony Playstation 3, DVD and stereo in the main living area, an Italian design walk-in closet in the master bedroom, extra large Jacuzzi tub in the master bath and designer furniture throughout. Dimmer controlled lighting in the main living area. The two extra bedrooms feature American style closets with sliding doors. The smaller bedroom also doubles as an office and has a desktop computer with Internet connection. The common areas of the building are clean, well kept and the building has a working elevator.

My son and I stayed at the apartment for 10 days and it was delightful. The apartment was exactly like the pictures on this web site. The driver was at the airport waiting when we arrived and Jeff was waiting when we arrived at the apartment. All the previous comments were accurate about the convenient location and the easy access to a little store next door. It's in a very safe area, nicely decorated, and was an excellent choice for us. However, I thought the beds were too firm, but that's a personal opinion. I would definitely stay here again if I were to return to Prague.

"Over the top" with owner/host Jeff, amenitites of the apartment, and location! We arrived late afternoon and were greeted outside the apartment by Jeff who showed us around the spacious, renovated apartment. A walking tour of the area followed with his recommendations for dining, market shopping, ATM/banks. Whatever our requests were, Jeff came through flawlessly with driver meeting us at the train station and Opera House the following night. When we requested a private tour guide of the city, Jeff lined up the best.

Our last night we dined at Jeff's recommendation, the unique La Casa Argentina in a rain forest setting a short walk from the apartment. The cities tram is practically outside the door of the apartment (less than 1/2 block) for convenience of getting around the city and easy to navigate. Buy your day pass at any tobacco store...one was around the corner from the condo and recommend you buy the tram map that they sell.

Thank you Jeff, for a memorable stay in Prague and your gracious assistance....far better than any hotel.

P.S. Bonus was washer and dryer for doing laundry!!

We found the apartment to be a very good find. It is comfortable with all of the amenities one need's when you find yourself traveling. The host, Jeff, could not be more accommodating. He called in the AM each day to inquire if we needed anything for the day. Highly recommend the unit for an extended stay.

I really don't know where to start. First, I don't think that the pictures do justice to the luxury this apartment provides. I was traveling with two friends and we had more than enough room. I highly recommend this for any group of 3-6 travelers or for a family on vacation.

Aside from the accommodations, there is also the host and the location. I use the term host for the owner of the apartment, because he is just that. He is as friendly as they come and made it his job to make sure that we knew our way around. He gave us a walking tour once we got settled in and showed us all the areas that we should visit. Couple this with the map and list of hotspots he supplied and you have the best host you could ask for.

Location? Everyone else commented on that but let me just say that I agree. We were able to access everything on foot.

All in all I would give the accommodations, the owner, and the location 5 stars and a 10 out 0f 10 at the same time.
