The Bohemia / Prague area
The region of Bohemia is the Czech Republics' most well known and visited area. The climate is mild in Spring, Fall and Summer with Winter seeing colder temperatures and snow fall. The area offers hiking, winter sports and historical tours. We can recommend some amazing day trips:
Karltejn castle - is the most notable Czech castle and one of the symbols of the Czech Kingdom. Czech King and Roman Emperor Charles IV founded the castle, built on three levels, in 1348. Travel time about 1 hour.
Kutna Hora - This eerie tomb lies 70km from Prague and boasts an amazing yet disturbing chapel decorated with human bones. Don't miss the Cathedral of St. Barbara. There's also a tour of the old silver mine available. Travel time is one hour and 15 minutes.
Konopiste castle - originally founded as a Gothic fortress guarding a nearby town of Benesov. After visiting the interiors of the castle, a close baroque Rose Garden with a Greenhouse provides visitors of a serene place to stroll and absorb the whole experience of their visit of the Konopiste Castle. Travel time about 1 hour.
Prague area
Not to be missed: Old Town Square, The Charles Bridge, The Prague Castle The Jewish quarter and Wenseslas Square, all of which are within walking distance of this apartment.
Personally I would also recommend Petrin hill (get a typical Czech dish in half of the hill in restaurant called Petrinske terasy), Vysehrad castle, Botanical garden / Zoo in Troja district and also a huge park of Pruhonice or Divoka Sarka (for relaxing walks). How to get there
Taxi service is available on request for 600 Czk (about 22 Euro) / 1 way. The trip from airport to the apartment takes about 30 min.

Hi Lucy, We wanted to thank you so much for the wonderful place we rented from you. The apartment was modern, clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect - quiet but only a short walk to the subway, tram, or by foot to downtown. We also greatly appreciated getting picked up at the airport by the driver you had arranged. And the French cafe across the road was unbelievable! Thanks again ... we will certainly recommend your place to travelers! Roslyn & Monty
Lucie! Dobry Den! I just wanted to thank you so much for everything! You have been so helpful and I truly appreciate your kindness. Your flat is absolutely amazing! Thank you for making me feel so at home. I wish you all the best! Keep in touch! :) Chow, Amanda :)

Lucie, Just a quick note to say, thanks for all your help both, before and during my stay In Prague. Your apartment was a welcoming delight to return to after my long walks (both in and out of the rain) and my fabulous evenings out. I will definitely use the apartment again the next time I visit and will definitely recommend it to family and friends. Thank you, Garry
