Are you fed up with boring tourist hotels? Do you want to stay in a place, where you can experience a normal life? Do you want to stay near Prague center, but you don’t long for casinos, shops with CCCP T-shirts neither overpriced restaurants?
In that case welcome to our home-hotel!
Our apartment is a cosy place with old-time atmosphere, but also modern equipment (newly renovated, opening June 2012) and a free high-speed Wifi internet. There are two rooms with enough place for four adults (60 m2), for tiny tots we have a comfortable baby bed. In the apartment there is a spacious bedroom, where you can find - except a large bed - plenty of books in English and Finnish (yes, we speak Finnish!) . In the living room there is a convertible sofa for two persons, TV, satellite and DVD-player – for those who are interested in the Czech culture we offer some of the best Czech movies with English subtitles. In the kitchen there is everything which a top chef might need. The apartment has also a nice balcony where you can sit and drink coffee, tee or wine. In a bathroom there is a washing machine and a bathtube, yippee!
We are - as well as our apartment - child friendly, so if you come with your little ones, we will tell you everything about non-smoking restaurants, playgrounds, children’s corners, baby cinemas, zoo, aqua park and other necessities.
Since our apartment is in an usual apartment building, considering our neighbours we can't unfortunately recommend our homehotel for parties, stag breaks or any other noisy activities.

Visit "Kreuzberg in Prague"! Newly popular district among artists and other creative people - new cafés, galleries, vegeteraian restaurants, fresh food markets and many others!
Our apartment is situated in a beautiful Art Nouveau district on the border of two Prague quarters – Vršovice and Vinohrady. Vršovice as well as Vinohrady is a calm residential area, which is, however, close to the city center. Thanks to a very good public transport connection you get to the very center in fifteen minutes (the bus stop is 50 meters from our apartment). About 500 meters from our apartment there is a 24/7 Tesco store.
If anything works in Prague, then it's definitely the public transport! Public transport in Prague is reliable, relatively cheap and quick – it's usually the fastest way how to move around the city. We will explain to you with pleasure, how the public transport works and how much it costs.
It's possible to park on the street in front of the house or in the surrounding streets, we have no parking zones, so it's free.
We speak Czech, English and Finnish.
If you stay longer then two nights and come late in the evening, there will be first breakfast waiting for you in the fridge. A transfer ticket for each guest included in price!
The Bohemia region
Prague - historical pearl of Europe - is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Textbook of architectural styles with its wealth of monuments, a city filled with music, romance and nostalgia is mainly a modern city full of life! Since 1992 the historical core of the city covering 866 hectares has been listed in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage. Mozart, Kafka, Havel, Mucha and many others' lives were inextricably connected to this city.
Prague is a major transport hub in Central Europe. Accessibility, whether by air, road or rail is very good. Due to its location in the middle of Europe, Prague is the best start point for trips to other Central and Eastern European countries and beyond. International airport and railway stations are connected to the city centre by effective system of public transport.

"A great base for exploring Prague and CZ."
We stayed in this apartment during March'13 the flat was warm and cosy despite being below zero outside. Barbora was there to meet us and give us all the information we required, she even left us a pre-paid travel ticket.
Do not be put off by the outside appearance of the block! Being a spouse of a smoker it is nice to stay in a non smoking flat but my wife was more than welcome to smoke on the balcony. The flat has been updated with mostly new IKEA furniture and had a compact modern kitchen, when travelling it is important for us to have a washing machine - we did reject a few flats because no washer was provided – but this one did. The only slight negative part was the parking as we had a full time hire car, although there was free on street parking outside it was difficult to get a spot during the evening and sometimes had to park quite a few streets away.

"Very cozy home away from home"
Barbora is very kind, informative and helpful whether you are visiting Prague for the first time, coming back for a subsequent visit, or (like me) returning to a city you called home for ten years. S… More

"A great alternative to the city centre"
This is a spacious apartment in a quiet road about 30 minutes (by public transport) from the old town. There is a large living room (with sofa bed) in an open plan arrangement with a small but well eq… More
Thank you, we are very happy you enjoyed your stay in our apartment. Just a minor remark for other guests - of course it dependes where you go, but it takes between 15 and 20 minutes to get to the very centre (Old town Square, Jewish town, Wenceslas Sqaure). It can take 30 minutes at night when metro doesn't go so often.

"Excellent Accommodations - not in the center of town, but easily accessible."
We truly enjoyed our stay here. We were able to spread out, not feel so 'cramped together'.
Barbora was so sweet to meet us at the flat and provide little extras that said 'welcome'. (Thank you, Barbora!)
While the flat was not in the very centre of things, we were pleased that we got to experience 'more residential' Prague. It was lovely and had nice restaurants in the area. The bus/metro were easily accessible for a quick hop into town.
We absolutely loved our time in Prague and hope to return someday. Thank you, again, for making our stay so comfortable.
