The Bohemia / Prague area

Prague is not only the Capital of the Czech Republic it is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. One of the few central European cities not extensively bombed during either world war it is a wonder to the eye. Century upon century greets you in the buildings and churchs everywhere. Climate here is typical continental with warm summers and fairly cold winters. The city itself is a delight all of the year around and is of a size that seems to be just made for walking. The entire city is on a very human scale and is remarkable for the many treasures hidden just around every corner.


Prague / Wenceslas Square area

Wencelas Square was at one time the horsemarket for Nove Mesto. It is now partially pedestrianized and is the perfect location for a holiday in Prague. At one end of the square is the National Muzeum and at the other the entrance to Stare Mesto or Old Town. There is every imaginable kind of restaurant from the very elegant to the corner hot dog stand (they are quite good by the way and some are open twenty four hours a day). Just get out and walk and don't be afraid as Prague is very safe. There are many little passages between the streets that are filled with shops and bars. Tiny little squares and parks abound throughout the area. If man was made to live in cities then surely this is what the creator was thinking of.


How to get there

We can arrange a car and driver to pick you up at Ruznye (PRG) airport or you can take a taxi. We recommend you call Citi Taxi at (420) 257 257 257 or take the AAA (and only the AAA) taxi's from the airport. If you are driving we will send you a detailed map on how to reach the apartment. Private secure parking in the buidling's courtyard is provided for your convenience. The apartment is truly convenient with access to the main tram lines and all three underground lines. The apartment is just steps from Wencelas Square and almost directly across the street from one of Prague's best hotels - the SAS Radisson Alcron.

This light and airy apartment is perfect for long or short term stays and is suitable for executives and upper level management. This apartment is up to the most luxurious and modern standard. The Bohemian Crystal chandelier in the dining room is controlled by a dimmer for intimate dining and the gas range and convection oven make cooking a real pleasure. Watch a movie on the large flat screen television complete with theater quality surround sound in the living room or retire to the bedroom and watch televsion from one of our comfortable beds. There is plenty of storage in the walk in closet in the bedroom which also has a small safe for your convenience.

Further details outdoors:
The secessionist (art noveau) buidling has been functionally renovated and although work remains to be done on the hallways, entry way and lift (a new one is planned for shortly) the buidling is quite simply beautiful. Directly next door is the Lucerna Palace with theaters, cinema, night clubs, shopping, restaurants and concerts. Walk just across the street (under Debenhams) to a modern grocery store or go a couple of blocks to Tesco. Although the area around the square can be lively at night the apartment is very quiet. The area is filled with all sorts of shops and restaurants and you are just a few blocks from the delights of Stare Mesto (Old Town). Even closer is the cosmopolitan shopping street of Na Prikope. A full fitness facility complete with indoor pool is available for a small addtional fee.
