We invite you to come visit Old Town Home Prague. Our apartments and dorm units are centrally situated directly behind Old Town Square's Tyn Cathedral. Our accommodations are in a UNESCO World Heritage listed building from the 14th century. During the 17th century, the building was home to Vaclav Budovec, one of the 27 gentlemen who were executed on Old Town Square for leading an uprising against Austrian Emperor Ferdinand II.
The building complex sprawls between two rustic, narrowly cobbled lanes, Tynska and Tynska ulicka, and in the heart of the building you will find a secluded courtyard. The complex boasts several venues of entertainment, including a pizzeria, hair salon, Bric-a-Brac shop, and our own Prague Trips & Tickets tourist information which serves as a reception. Even though all of our units are in the same building, the complex has multiple entrances, so some of our units are accessed from Tynska street and others from Tynska ulicka. Our Prague Trips & Tickets receptionist will guide you to your respective dorm or apartment.
Despite its age and the gloomy ending for some of it's previous owners, the building is clean and modern, keeping all of its guests comfortable. Our pleasantly sufficient rooms are gentle on the wallet yet in the best location. We offer prime choices of either private apartments or dorm rooms with ensuite bathrooms to provide for the needs of private groups or single travellers. The best choice for budget travelers wishing to stay in the most convenient spots!
Our spacious 2-bedroom apartment is fresh, comfortable, and aesthetically decorated. The first bedroom sleeps 2 guests on individual single beds with a bed-side table next to each. The second bedroom holds 4 guests, 2 also on single beds and 2 on one double bed with accompanying bed-side tables. We provide two large wardrobes for hanging garments and there is space under each bed to store luggage. The warm colors invite you to sit on the cushy couch to enjoy a cup of coffee before exploring the city sites which are just steps away from the apartment's door. In the same communal area as the couch and TV, there is a fully functioning kitchenette (with complimentary tea, coffee, and cream) where you can prepare home-cooked meals for a relaxing evening in, or a hearty breakfast before walking around town. The newly tiled bathroom and toilet are accessed from the apartment's foyer.
The entrance to the 2-Bedroom Apartment is accessed from Tynska ulicka where you can find a tattoo parlor, restaurants, and a sport bar.

About this location
The Bohemia region
Prague is the capital city in the Czech Republic, a Central Eastern European country. Praha, as Prague is known locally, is nestled in Bohemia, a region of the Czech Republic just west of its center. Widely considered to be one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, Prague is among the most visited cities on the continent.
Prague is home to a number of famous cultural attractions, many of which survived the violence and destruction of 20th century Europe. Main attractions include the Prague Castle, the Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, the Jewish Quarter, the Lennon Wall, and Petrin hill.
The city of Prague has borderline oceanic climate. The winters are relatively cold with very little sunshine. Snow cover can be common between mid-November to late March. Summers usually bring fine sunny days with highs being around 25 degrees. Nights can be quite cool even in summer, though.
Our accommodations are within a very short walking distance from the Old Town Square where you can see the Memorial Statue of John Huss and the Astronomical Clock dating from the 15th century located in the tower of Old Town Hall. There are also the noteable Kinsky Palace, now home of the National Gallery, the St. Nicolas Cathedral, and Tyn Cathedral to peruse while taking in the sights.
Not only are we steps away from these famous historic sites, but we are also very near several locally owned ammenities that make your stay feel more like home. There are bars and pubs, clubs and gyms, a mini-market and hair dresser, outdoor tennis court and a tatoo parlor on the very streets where you enter our building to your accommodations.
For easy access to public transit, you can walk 5-10 minutes to the Green Line metro station Staromestska or the Yellow Line stations Namesti Republiky or Mustek. At Namesti Republiky and Staromestska both, you can also catch trams.

"Fantastic location, well equiped kitchen and very clean and warm."
This apartment was warm, specious, spotlessly clean, with well equipped Kitchen, well placed for sight seeing right off the main square and the street was peaceful as well. Two points I would make, towels were rather on the small side and as with many Prague apartments set up for multiple single occupancy with 6 single beds in two rooms. Fine for a group of friends. I will say that the tourist office that lets this apartment out were fantastic. We took the organised walking tour and Max our guide was fantastic, knowledgeable not only on the sights but in general and was interesting to talk to to find out those little things you would not normally. Their is a grate we French bakery round the corner toward the square and turn right, and a Jazz club just further up the street and the wee Italian at the end of the road does have good quality house red wine, always a plus in my book.

The apartment was really good, better than the pictures I think. Clean, new, well equipped. The position was excellent, near old town square. The staff was really helpful. In general I really recommend it to everyone. The only problem was that there was no hair dryer, so if it is important for you take one with you. Also another tip is that the address is not completely right. The reception is in one of the tourist shops on the street exactly on the right side of the address, but if you call the number they will tell you how to find them.
