Gite Corneilla is situated at an altitude of 600 m at the foot of Mount Canigou, peak of 2784 m. In the centre of the village there is a boulangie with a small shop and a post office and tourist information. It is the perfect starting point to the Canigou Massif by foot or bike.

The shops now occupied by local artisans, cafes and restaurants.
